Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by tired night in Ashford An off night for the consistent IHG brands On check in i was not greeted as a priority club member, the member of staff checking me in did not have a name badge and appeared unshaven with his shirt hanging out and top button of his shirt undone. No explanation was given that the internet access code was on the key card. Poor choice of food in the restaurant with the spring rolls ordered coming out almost burnt and would have expected the Smoked salmon to be served with bread. The service was very hit and miss with staff more interested in talking to customers that taking orders/seating guests. The phone did not work in the room, the room faced the road and was load from passing lorries and the bed was uncomfortable. March 1, 2015

Very clean although carpets/wallpaper in room looking slightly tired. Food was excellent - quality, service, variety and price. Marked staff & service down a point purely because given misleading guidance on cost of internet in room - was told it was free (for Gold IHG Rewards members), but this is only for WiFi. We come to visit the Banyan retreat, which is a 30 second drive away. The hotel's great value for money (ask about Banyan discount), the room is comfortable and the breakfast is excellent....sorted!!
