We use this hotel when we need to stop over before a holiday in France. Its great value for money. The hotel is a little tired but the rooms are comfortable and clean the service is excellent and the food is good. You can park your car and include this in your booking very helpful if you are being picked up by coach.

My family and I have travelled all over the world staying in Holiday inn's crown plaza's and holiday inn express and have to say that this
hotel is by far the best we have ever stayed in.
The family room was a very good size really clean this may be a small thing to most but we always find that booking a family room normally there are only two cups in the room not enough towels so you have to contact the front desk to get more sent to the room, not this time though enough cups, tea coffee and milks to do.
Now the staff
Well they we all very polite clean tidy know there job and gave the very best service.
In all the best Holiday inn we have ever stayed in well done and thank you keep up the good work

Hotel very good but was a bit disappointed that we
Could not use the dining room on the night we
Arrived as they were. Expecting three bus parties
E were told the pub across the car park was serving
A carvery but only until five o'clock and we arrived
At 3.30 and then only bar snacks after that
We have stayed here before and really enjoyed
our time there so was disappointed this time
We were also told that if we were having breakfast
we would have to wait until after eight o'clock
as the bus parties were being served earlier
I know that bus parties are a big part of your
trade but surely you should also try and consider
Individuals as they are also trade for you all year

A very convenient stop before Eurotunnel. Had a very large family room, with the single beds tucked away in their own cubby hole, which very much impressed our 9-year old.

Extremely noisy air conditioning units outside our window. We found it difficult to sleep.
Hotel was difficult to find, even with a Satnav.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Hesk Good location, with attached pub
This hotel was very nice indeed, like the Holiday Inn Expresses, but that little bit more upmarket. Very comfortable rooms and lounge. The added bonus was the pub in the same grounds that did a very good range of food, if you did not want a full blown meal in the hotel restaurant . Highly recommended.

We come to this hotel about once a year but this time we stayed in a different part of the hotel which seem a bit neglected. The room was big and spotless but the wallpaper started to come off the wall and the room seemed a little damp. The breakfast buffet offered a wide range of food but everything seemed to lack a little attention. The staff however was very friendly.

We stayed here for one night with breakfast, and have stayed here many times before. The staff were welcoming and friendly and we had a lovely breakfast the next morning. Quiet room and comfortable bed. Our friends stayed too and were very happy with the hotel.

This Holiday Inn never fails to impress us as a family wanting a base to stay at whilst visiting family. What we like: cleanliness, room size, friendly staff, breakfast and the relaxing atmosphere down in the bar in the evenings.

We have stayed at The Holiday Inn several times now and each time have been made to feel welcome by all the staff especially receptionist George who is so pleasant and helpful. Our rooms have always been of a very high standard as is the food we have eaten there. Their breakfast is first class and it helps that you can park there while you are on your holday.
I highly recommend this hotel and their rates are very reaonable.

From the second of arrival the service at this hotel was exemplary. The staff could not do enough for us. In addition our family room was huge and very well appointed. Superb !! A great position for a stop before / after going through the Euro tunnel.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by GC27 Overall experience
Our room was absolutely lovely. Clean and modern, very quiet and relaxing with a great bathroom. The only negative comment I have to make is the quality of food at the pub on the site (which was run by the same company) was very poor indeed. The waitress was very good indeed but the quality of the food was awful. We would stay at the venue again but would eat at the beefeater down the road.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by LadyPreraphaelite Beyond my expectations
First impressions were a sheer delight - an incredibly clean, tidy and appealing room to stay in. The room was located looking out to a pretty garden.
Being so impressed with the room presentation standards and the comfort of the bed, I feel reluctant in writing ANY negatives but I will have to state why I did not give 5 stars.
Being a Saturday night, there was a very loud party of girls outside on the patio who did not quieten down until the early hours of the morning. This can be tolerated, but then the fire alarm went off at around 1pm so our sleep was disturbed. Then Sunday morning we had a knock on our door from a girl wanting to clean the room. She was incredibly polite, but we didn't understand why this would happen when we were due to check out that day.
On the whole, the service and friendliness of staff was excellent.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by IJH61 Lack of Communication!
We stayed at this hotel recently due an issue with "overbooking" at the Holiday Inn Ashford Central. We have previously stayed here and always received a good level of service.
After Ashford Central calling to confirm availability of the room we were transferred by taxi as if we had wanted to park our car at the hotel, despite having a Eurostar Package, we were advised there would be a charge.
Upon checking in we also enquired about breakfast as this was also included in the package and were told that this would also be charged for! Needless to say at this point we declined !
I understand that the two hotels are totally separate but feel that as a gesture of goodwill parking and breakfast should have been available to us without a charge.
Furthermore we now realise that the Priority Club points have not been awarded for our stay,.

Very nice hotel. All the staff excellent. Nice views. Very comfortable lounge/foyer and also the sundeck was very pleasant.
You got used to it- but the air conditioning from the kitchen-which was below our room, made a bit of noise but the view made up for it.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Booga Perfect overnight stay
Used this as a stop off prior to travelling on to France and would recommend this hotel to anyone. We had a quiet room at the back, with AC and very comfortable. Food at the adjacent pub was perfect after a long drive. Overall excellent value for money and an enjoyable 1 night stay. Highly recommended. One thing to note is be careful navigating here with your GPS - post code and using POI to the hotel both failed to get us there and ended up back on the motorway towards Maidstone!

Our first experience of staying in this hotel was very pleasant. The room was excellent, beautifully decorated and the beds were so comfortable. The room was clean and well stocked with everything that could possibly be required. The hotel was in a lovely quiet location and had a calm, comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. We were warmly welcomed by reception and the catering staff were very helpful. Apart from being kept awake by the wedding disco, we thoroughtly enjoyed our stay and would book again if needing to stay in the area in the future. Thank you.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Andr3wtp Very Clean, Comfortable and relaxing
Was difficult to find the hotel with a satnav as it thought the hotel was on the hard shoulder of the M20.
Once at the hotel, found it very relaxing and quiet, with very friendly helpful staff. The rooms are very clean, quite big and very comfortable.
Would definitely visit again.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by PeterK Good stop over for the Ferry
This hotel is a convenient stop over for an early connection to a channel ferry or the tunnel transfer.
A little difficult to find. Ask the hotel to give you the post code of a nearby garage, which is more reliable than the hotel's own post code for most nav systems.
Very competent staff. Nice rooms with windows that open for fresh air fiends. Far enough away from the motorway for its noise to be a mere background hum. Convenient food. What is not to like?

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 Friendly and efficient staff even though a large foreign cach party was staying
I was very impressed with the friendly staff from reception to bar to dining room. Everyone was cheerful and went out of their way to make me comfortable. This was in spite of a busy guest arrival period with a coachload of French and German visitors who were visiting the local area.
I was very impressed and pleased that my Company booked me into this hotel.

I booked a family room in January this year and paid in advance. We arrived at the hotel for our stay on 1/6/13 to be told by the receptionist that all the family rooms had gone. The receptionist was unable to give us a reason for this despite being told the room was booked in January. She then told us a wedding reception was taking place in the hotel and because we were on the second floor "it would be no problem". How wrong would she be!
We had been asleep for about two hours when we were awoken by children running up and down the corridor. Having managed to get back to sleep we were then awoken by somebody from the wedding party having an argument at the top of their voices and using some very strong language. Luckily this did not wake our two children. We eventually got back to sleep but not what we wanted after a long drive back from France.
Having stayed at the hotel before and been happy with our stay this time disappointing.
We did not receive any communication regarding the change of room or about the wedding reception.
