clean spacious hotel, only real issue was staff were pre occupied and uninterested when checked in, and I had to visit the desk to get wifi info despite having a loyalty card was not offered free wifi option until I told staff I had I previous loyalty card.

We arrived to be told that we had not booked a room with a sofa bed when we had. No acknowledgement given by receptionist that this was the hotle's mistake, even when I showed her the booking form. Still no apolology!
I t proved hard work to actually get the rooms we had booked, staff attempted to fob us off with a grubby, stained matress pad ( not a proper matress even) and only after refusing this were we offered the room we had booked with a sofa bed.
One of the other rooms booked had broken excessively noisy air conditioning. Staff unable to rectify this and reluctant to offer an alternative room instead. Again when we insisted anither room suddenly became available.
Although the beds were comfortable and the food good, grumpy unapologetic staff and problems as described really spoilt our stay. Still no proper apology even after going through IHG complaints channels.
