Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Slow getting room ready Arrived around noon, and had to wait in line for twenty minutes to check in. I was allowed to check in, but my roo wasn't ready yet. I know it was a busy weekend so I understood. I was told to check back later. I came back after 3 pm (official check in time) and again I had to wait in line, only to be told that my room still wasn't ready. After another thirty minutes, my husband went in again to enquire about our room, this time it was ready. The manager comped up free breakfast for our inconvenience. I just have to say that I'm glad I wasn't paying for breakfast, because it was terrible. Everything was cold and stale. We actually left and went to McDonald's instead. The one real compliment I have is for room service, after arriving back at our room near midnight, we ordered room service. Thankfully they were still serving. Service was fast, the food was good and was fairly well priced, given it was room service. April 19, 2013

We had a reservation for at least 2 months and on the day of check in - at 3:00PM exactly, we were not able to get into our room. It was a busy day, a concert and weddings were happening in town, but we had to be at a wedding at 5PM and were delayed because 'the room wasn't ready' until after 4PM. We attempted to see if we could get another room 2 times and only after I approached the desk for a 3rd time were we able to get anyone to provide that solution. The man who helped me in the end was very helpful but I was a bit disappointed that this option wasn't offered earlier. April 19, 2013

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Missing sheets We were here attending a wedding. We had a suite with two fold-out sofa beds for our extra guest. We got back late that evening from the wedding. Once we were getting the extra beds ready, we realized that no one had supplied our room with sheet, blankets or pillows for the sofa beds. The next day when we checked out, I was telling the front counter people about this. A female that was working the counter said "We don't make the beds for you". I said "I know that, but you could have provided the sheets for the beds". She was NOT very nice!!! We paid extra to have this room to sleep additional people and the room was not supplied well. I will think twice before using this facility again. March 30, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Location, no bathroom fans We stayed here for a wedding. We arrived Thursday. Check-in was easy, but then the young man behind the desk said I would have to re check-in the following day because that is when the wedding block started (Friday-Saturday). No one else that we were traveling with were asked to check-in on the second day. On Friday morning I went down to the front desk to check-in again. This time I had a very friendly lady and she said they could have taken care of it the day before. She ended up fixing everything so we were able to stay in the same room. We stayed in the executive rooms (red tower). The room was very spacious and inviting. The only downfall was there was not a fan in the bathroom, so everytime someone showered the room would feel very humid and sticky. The location was amazing. We walked to the bars on the first night and there were also plenty of restaurants to choose from. There were also some nice shops within walking distance as well. We happen to be in Athens the weekend of the college spring break, so we did not experience anyone being loud in the hotel as other reviews mentioned. March 22, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by We had a great stay! Upon check in, we received a snack and bottled water for being a Priority Club member. Our room was clean and spacious--which was great for an afternoon nap. The bathroom was quite large and well appointed. We were just a short walk from Downtown. And as we were leaving, the head of housekeeping saw us, asked about our stay and if we enjoyed seeing our kids (she apparently knew we were in for a Parents Weekend with our daughter's sorority) and then gave me a big hug! She was so genuine and truly cared about our visit. Wonderful!!!!!!! March 12, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by A mostly pleasant stay The staff was very nice and accommodating, and the beds were very comfortable! However our t.v. seemed to be possessed. The volume would just start rising to a blaring level while the remote was sitting on the nightstand untouched. It happened a few times before I finally muted it. Surprisingly it even came off of mute and started rising in volume again untouched. Not sure if another room's remote was controlling our t.v. or what. October 26, 2012
