Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Quick overnight stay
I was flying with SkyGreece, a new and unreliable air line and decided to stay in Athens just in case my flight was cancelled and I needed to take an earlier flight. I wanted to stay at a hotel near the Athens Markopoulo Airport. In the States, Holiday Inn or chain Hotel/Motels are very unpredictable. I read some reviews and booked my stay. I was very happy with my stay. The rooms were very clean and updated with the latest technologies. The property had a pool/fitness center/bar/restaurant/friendly staff. What more could one ask for?

Nice hotel convenient to airport. I had a large room, comfortable bed, pillows labelled for softness!!, toiletries and bidet in bathroom,TV and machine to get hot tea in the morning. Minibar not cold enough to use as a frig. Ask hotel ahead of time where to get the shuttle at the airport because airport personnel gave wrong directions. There is a bus about a block from the hotel for an inexpensive ride directly into the city. Free (though very slow) computer in lobby which I used to print boarding pass as I did not have other devices. Got my wake-up call on time and had no trouble making an early morning flight.. I'd stay again if I needed to be at the airport. I only stayed one night, between connections, but was glad I could get into the city easily for a few hours.

This is a good place to stay if you have an overnight layover like my wife and I had recently. The airport shuttle service is frequent, running every 30 minutes in the morning and hourly thereafter. Room was comfortable and restaurant food was good. The only problems I had was with a faulty room safe in room 506 and internet was slow but still the best of all the places I stayed during my two week holiday.
