There was a miscommunication with housekeeping, and the head of housekeeping came to my room personally and made everything 100% better, his name was Morris. He made my stay. I stayed for a week and not one single employee actually talked to me (besides at check in and check out), but my experience with Morris made up for it!! He did an excellent job with service recovery and deserves to be recognized for doing such! Room had a couple maintenance issues, but what room doesn't. I don't expect perfection, I expect a home like feeling from the employees and that's what I got from Morris! When I visit Atlanta/Perimeter area again, I will definitely check on this hotel first! Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Just one issue Overall, our experience was fine. The room itself was clean and comfortable and the proximity to the city meant a $12 Lyft/Uber to go out. Based on that, the price of the room was a great value. However, during our stay we had an issue with getting locked out of our hotel. We used the key card provided at check in, the light would flash green and the door remained locked. After several trips to the front desk, including to have the card re-magnetized, a security guard joined us to see if the issue wasn't user error. Eventually, we were we able to gain entry after several calls to the room phone to our friend who was asleep inside. She hadn't locked the deadbolt, even the front desk confirmed it was some other issue. The desk was as helpful as they could be, which we greatly appreciated. The negative experience outweighed the positive aspects unfortunately. November 25, 2015

The first night we had to be moved to another room because the heat system did not work properly We were greeted by a very nice young lady named Jenna, she was very professional and had a calming effect on us as we were very wearried after the Atlantic traffic. Another young lady Katharina,was also very nice. Af the checkout we dealt with the front office managerRobert and he helped us the best he could and in a very professional manner. All in all the problem was solved and we had a nice stay November 21, 2015

The hotel's food was great for an inexpensive buffet breakfast, but lunch and supper meals used the same menu whose prices were on the high side. The business center was adequate with a good printer.
