Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by 1-17-2015 This is a great hotel to stay at, however beware that weather you use valet parking or not you will be charge 20 per day for it. We did not know until check out that this was additional to the reservation price and was not included in the price we were given. Kids eat free, which was a great incentive. Our room was very clean and came with a microwave and refrigerator, however the TV had a shortage, we called front desk and it took engineering a while to come fix, so my husband ended up fixing before they made it.,and it went out again before we went to bed, but we didn't even bother again since we were not going to be looking at the TV much. Great walking distance to the local attractions. It took us about 6 minutes to walk to the Aquarium. The hotel is clean, and the staff is friendly. I would stay here again especially if you are on a budget and want to stay downtown. January 22, 2015

There was a good 1 inch gap under door which I stuck a towel during the night, and bath tub must of been refinished at on time, because there was area's that there was peeling from the surface. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by New Years 2014-2015 Stayed here 12/30-1/2 for a concert at the Tabernacle. The Tabernacle was about 100 yards from the entrance of the hotel which was great. Had the dinner buffet one evening and it was very tasty and the staff were friendly. They answered my questions about the area and even filled up some to go boxes for me from the buffet to have after the concert. Hotel was packed with college football fans for the Peach Bowl and the staff did an excellent job accommodating everyone. Would definitely stay here again if I was visiting one of the many attractions in the area. January 6, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Bar needs set hours I called to confirm that the bar was going to be open on the 1st. Me and some Friends were planning to stay at the hotel and watch the playoff's at the bar. It was suppose to be bad weather. Well we started drinking and at 9:00 p.m. we were informed that the bar was closing. The bartender stated she was tired from work the previous day. So in the middle of a game, in the rain, we have to go to a competitors bar down the road. Found out that hotel was half price of what we were paying with a full service bar that were open till the time they were suppose to close. Was really disappointed in the bar at the Holiday Inn. This is the third time in a row I have stayed at the Hotel and was not booked on the Rewards floors January 5, 2015
