Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Do currently not recommend The hotel is currently renovated When I arrived there was no power so it took a while to check in. after the power outage was resolved the rest of the evening was ok. I had an interview the next morning and when I wanted to take a shower they had NO water!!!! And I was told by the front desk that they were in the process of fixing it... not fixed in time for me since I had to leave at 7..no water to brush your teeth, flush the toilet or take a shower....quiet an experience... He was very helpful with wakeup call setting and internet connection help. The breakfast staff were great as well serving drinks and helping with any of our needs. Because of these people we will definately try spending more nights with Holiday Inn. February 2, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by We did not stay here after discovering our room dismantled and full of service equipment While displaced from our home due to renovations that were taking longer than expected, we booked a room at the Holiday Inn Northlake for me, my wife and our 2 young children. After returning to the hotel after a family outing, my wife went up to the room first as I gathered our sleeping 2 and 5 year old to take them up and straight to bed. My wife quickly returned to the vehicle upset by the state of our room. After I went to investigate and found the room as described in the above "Review Title", I went straight to the front desk to explain we were not comfortable spending the night here with our children. We were then told by the gentleman working the front desk it would be no problem to cancel our reservation, and he asked us to simply write out our reason for cancelling so he could inform the manager when he arrived the following morning. He told us we could expect a call from the manager if there was any problem. We did not receive a call, but were charged for the room anyway, with no explanation for the manager's apparent denial of our cancellation request. January 28, 2015
