Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Overall Experience We enjoyed this facility because of its location to where we had to be each day, the cleanliness of our bathroom and bedroom areas, and the selection of food on the breakfast buffet. The computers in the business area left a little to be desired as far as their usage was concerned. It was always a challenge to get onto my email account and I was hesitant about using the system for my boarding passes. January 10, 2015

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Another Holiday Inn that disappoints I am a Platinum Elite cardholder. I would not have known it from the staff's lack of acknowledgement. On the day of my departure (Dec 26) I asked the front desk attendant to make sure that I received the points that were not acknowledged when I registered. April informed me that the room I was in was not one that this location reserves for Platinum Elite members. I used the pool area. I found no towels. I asked a housekeeper who brought me one towel. But what about other guests??? The breakfast buffet was a disaster. The Dining Room Manager does not arrive until 9AM, essentially when breakfast is over. I spoke with one young lady there who was the "senior" person. From when I arrived at the greeting station and was yelled out from all the way across the room #maybe 75 feet# to sit anywhere, it was obvious that proper and adequate training needs to be greatly improved. Bananas were so brused they looked black. There were no bowls for cereal, only shallow plates. The third floor smells like a bad laundry hamper. The common area carpeting is stained everywhere. This needs a facelift. Overall, the issues are: 1. Lack of acknowledgement of Platinum Eltie card holders #what's the point of it# 2. Failure to acknowledge and offer points or ...? 3. Evidence of a lack of adequate training. Why does the Dining Room Manager not get in until 9 am? 4. Smelly third floor. 5. No one attends to the pool area. 6. Carpeting in the common areas is heavily soiled and stained, perhaps explainging the b.o. smell on the third floor. 7. What does the general manager do if I can find these issues in two days; they didn't just happen when I got there. 8. Spoiled fruit on the buffet. 9. No bowls for cereal. My daughter is stationed at Fort Gordon, but why would I come back to this hotel when there are other obvious choices. I can not recommend this property at all. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Holiday Stay We stayed 2 nights to be with family for the holidays. The room was clean and comfortable, the bed was comfy and we had plenty of pillows. The pool and hot tub were an added bonus. We had a continental breakfast Christmas morning, but the next morning we had a full buffet breakfast that was awesome. Will stay here again on our next visit. December 28, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Relaxing in Augusta This visit was an early Christmas visit with Family. With that being said you never know what might happen good or bad with a visit like this. Everything did turn out well and it was nice to know that back at the Holiday Inn that there was quiet and solitude if it had not gone well. We have stayed at the same place every year because we know the area and it is convenient to family. Plus the fact I like to stay at a place that has a bar rather than driving all over town to find one. The only other thing that I can say is "Try it, you'll it! December 17, 2014
