We were in need of a place to stay when our home AC went out. Having stayed with the same facility in 2010 for another reason and recent stay in Kennesaw, Ga. I chose to go to the hotel that I knew could meet my family's needs. Everyone was customer oriented and wanted to make sure all our needs were met. Thanks for the positive experience.

I made reservation for a king size room for two adults and a child. I’ve stayed at numerous Holiday Inns and with the king reservation had a sofa bed for my child. This HIE did not have a sofa bed, but we were fortunate enough to get the last roll away bed.
Also, the breakfast did not offer much for a HIE complimentary breakfast. There was no cereal for my daughter, which has been the best thing for her when travelling. No biscuits and gravy, no cinnamon rolls, etc. The basics were missing. There was no juice dispenser which required us to wait for the one waitress that was trying to take orders for drinks for everyone and try to clean the tables as new guests would come in. The bread was stale. The worst experience we’ve had in our 20+ years of travelling with the military.
Must find a new place to stay in Augusta for my next upcoming visit.

Reservation process was simple, check in was personal & friendly, accomodations were clean, comfortable, and quiet. The bartender and servers were friendly and accomodationg to my preferences. Breakfast was fresh and included everything I was looking for (Scrambled Eggs, meat, & fruit) I did not partake in the waffles or sausage, biscuits, and gravy. Checkout was as simple as a friendly wave with a smile and wishing me "Safe travels" home. I travel to Augusta very often and always stay at this facility. The accomodations and staff are consistantly great.

The room is new, so it is clean.
Restaurant would have been nice if the outside seat was actually used.
No weight training equipment in the gym, which is a huge minus for me.
No restaurant around the building, which they cannot really help.

I stayed at the hotel for 13 days over a three week period. The breakfast is outstanding and the staff really goes out their way to take care of you. The rooms are comfortable.

The morning of our check out was lack luster. First, we had a restaurant charge made in error to our room - which was removed by Manager On Duty. Went down for the breakfast buffet at 9:20AM and NOTHING was available on the buffet (the buffet did not close until 10AM). There were only two plates available and there was no food prepared in either of the buffet trays. One other guest stated he had been waiting at least 15 minutes for food. The only credit provided by the MOD was at first $10 (mind you for TWO people . . . REALLY?!) . . . she then raised the offer to $20.00 which was credited to our two night stay at HIE - Augusta. When traveling for pleasure I will ALWAYS look for a HI Express location for my destination. This is the FIRST time I had this negative of an experience with any HI Express I have previously stayed with. The Facility is impressive, our room was very comfortable, but, the promise of a hearty warm breakfast was NOT available.

Added charges to my bill without my permission or even informing me. General Manager is never available to talk with Guests...he is always in meetings. Staff is fantastic but I do not trust anyone that adds charges to my bill and then is too cowardly to defend their actions. I will never stay at this property again!

I traveled on business and use only Holiday Inn in which I have a corp rate, My problem is I can stay cheaper on the beach at Hilton Head then Augusta Georgia and my BIGGEST problem is I was charged to different prices. One for Wednesday and One for Thursday. Why Have a corp rate if it does not apply for all days

Hotel looks good from the outside but needs someone to pay attention to the details.
Window darkening shades had holes in them and duct tape on some of the holes.
Free breakfast buffet comprised of cold eggs, scraps of bacon and sausage- very dissapointing.

This hotel is always very comfortable, but this trip I was invited into the resturant which I thought was the traditional continental. (which I do not like) To my surprise it was a wonderful hot breakfast with servers, and real OJ......absolutely great way to start the day!

I stayed there for 3 days and had an average stay. It would have been better if I didn't have to report what was wrong with the room. The sink stopper in the bathroom wouldn't work right and the toilet would run and run unless I went back and shook the handle. The TV wouldn't come on the next morning but that was fixed. None of the other thing were fixed but was reported as well.

I called in my reservation the day before and the man set up reservation professionally, He immediately recognized me as a previous guest and a Priority Club Member and called me by name and got me the room i requested. Had a great nights sleep in a clean room and bath with nice towels and linens. The prepared free breakfast is a big bonus in that you don't have to stop somewhere else to eat. You also get the USA Today and the Augusta paper and I am a paper reader so it appeals to me. Great value and i highly recommend.

I have stayed at this hotel many times in the past. Staff has always been attentive and good.
My TV did not work. Moved the plug, nothing. TV appears to be down for the count.
At check out I mentioned to the front desk clerk, of which she wrote it down. I stated that I was not looking for an adjustment on my bill, but that I would like to have some extra points added to my priority club account. She stated that she would let the manager know.
I have checked my account. The normal points amount has been added, however no extra points were added. I am assuming that the decision was made to not add any extra points.
Also at check in. The coffee was gone. No coffee containers at all at the table near the front desk.
I do a minimum of 180 hotel nights a year. Holiday Inn is a minimum of 130 of those nights.

Need a better channel selection on the TV. TV does not have HD capability. Had to watch the recent BCS Championship on a reduced screen size as a result.
The eggs on the buffet have an off flavor; however, I really appreciate that the hotel has a complimentary breakfast buffet now.
But, I picked a hamburger and fries in Kem's. When I got back to the room I realized the fries looked like the dregs from the pan. I should have gone back down and complained but I didn't. Expected a better experience.
The exhaust fan in the bathroom did not work (room 309).

I usually stay at this hotel when I an traveling to Augusta on business. Since this last stay, I have changed hotels for these reasons.
1. Internet is EXTREMELY slow.
2. Cable did not work in my room and needed to be rest by staff.
3. Coffee was empty in the lobby at 8:am in the morning (REALLY).
4. Coffee was also empty at 5:30 PM in the lobby.
5. I requested a reservastion change. The change was made for one night but not for my complete stay.
6. I stood at the front counter for 15 minutes waiting for someone to show up to assist me. She mentioned she was in some meeting. So who covers the desk when you are in a meeting?
7. Waited 15 minutes for my dinner check.

Our daughter is currently stationed at Ft. Gordon and we were unable to stay on post during our recent visit due to the hotel on post not having availablity due to the Thanksgiving Holiday. The Holiday Inn - West was very close to the post and a wonderful location. The hotel staff was very polite and friendly. The beds were very comfortable. We will surely stay at this location again in the future.

Great check in, made to feel welcome. Desk clerk very helpful. Fifth floor unacceptable because of AC noice on the roof. Easily moved to second floor. No tub. Moved to second floor. Did not realize until we had settled in that they only have tubs on the fifth floor. 2nd floor TV noisey. Problem taken care of immediately. Room was clean and comfortable except for the pillows. Complimentary breakfast was good with attentive service. Easy check out. Extra reward points for reserving online. Although I can recommend the property, I would probably choose a local Holiday Inn Express my next time around.

I have stayed at Holiday Inn's a bunch. I had a very bad experience at this motel. They had a basketball team staying there and they were very loud. I complanied at the front desk with no help. I was there for medical reasons I had an appointment at at MCG . I was really not feeling well. They did nothing to accomate me I will never stay there again. The mangement never contacted either.
