Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good customer service; lacking in appearance I stayed here for upcoming military training for one night. I checked in late and was gratefully upgraded to a better room. Food options were limited. Stop at exit 2 or elsewhere before coming to hotel if past 8 pm. The lighting in the lobby and surrounding area was dim. The restaurant was closed. February 27, 2015

It was smaller than most Holiday Inn's and I usually don't stay in places where the door opens to the outside. Other than that, the breakfast was excellent and the staff was very friendly! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Front Desk Staff is Exemplary I do not want to single anyone out by name, but Amanda has done a great job training and managing all of her front-desk staff. They are always glad to see all guests and they make we want to keep coming back again and again. My job in this city is very stressful. When I come "home" after a long and grueling day, they are always a breath of fresh air. Their smiles are genuine and their attitudes are unwaiveringly positive - at all hours. I am proud to call them my "family" away from home. It is always "a great day at Holiday Inn Gordon Highway." Bravo. February 16, 2015

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by WILL NEVER STAY AGAIN Over all the stay there is not one for family or one that is handicap. They place the handicap in the rear of the motel it is not a hotel. The cost is over priced for the stay the cleaning staff management is great. The house keeping staff needs better training. Mold and mildew in shower and mattress with urine stain is not good at all especially when you are supposed to be changing the liening. Just not some place to be comfortable. January 28, 2015

I've had bad experiences with third party reservations, so I was concerned that this would be a similar experience. The phone reservationist assured me he worked for Holiday Inn, but it didn't sound like it and I remained dubious, though perhaps I shouldn't have been. Still, I prefer to speak with someone at the facility I'm trying to stay at. When I arrived about midnight, my reservation was ready for me, though I thought the front desk person was a little curt. Perhaps because it was late and she was tired. When I stayed at the same motel a few days later without phoning in a reservation first, the front desk person was much friendlier, and more helpful -- she was able to provide me a 10% discount I was not made aware of the first time around. The motel was great, but I'm a small businessperson, and the high price for a bed is a drawback for me. January 25, 2015
