Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfy Didnt get handicap room as I was told I would. B'fast was excellent; Staff, Servers and Workers were attentive,professionals and quite helpful. One of two Room keys didnt work the 1st day and neither worked the 2nd day as we were trying to check out. No one mentioned about that Soup and Salad were available for Dinner until after I checked out. Liked the late check-out time. Room was nice but didnt look like picture. Overall experience: very positive. I will return and hopefully get the room I requested. June 6, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Enjoyable for the Most Part I enjoyed most of my stay, here is my only major issue: The staff was very friendly and attentive except for the person who drove me to the airport. I understand that it was 5AM but I was greeted with barely a "grunt", had to carry my own bag to the van and had a silent ride to the airport. This doesn't leave a great opinion in my mind. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Absolutely loved it! I stayed at Holiday Inn during Memorial weekend to visit my husband who is currently at Fort Gordon. I loved the staff, they are very friendly and welcoming. I stay at the Holiday Inn for 4 days and everyday housekeeping knocked on my door the exact time everyday to make sure I had fresh towel (After my second day, I guess they caught on that I didn't reuse my towels so they would have my towels ready for me already!) The bed is SUPER comfortable! Probably the best part of the entire stay! The only thing is that I wasn't able to use the swimming pool because there were way too many people (they had a family reunion I believe) I was able to check in 2 hours early and I was able to check out 2 hours later, with no complications at all. Room service was great as well... The food was delicious! Overall, the stay was great! I will be staying here when I visit my husband! Thank you for your hospitality! May 29, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by unprofessional The air did not work well thethe staff was unprofessional talking about drinking. The pool area out in front of the rooms stay open all nigh so you have to listen to screaming childeren and drunks so no sleep. The restaurant was good but that's about it. Next time I'm in the area I will be staying somewhere else. May 28, 2014

It is probably my favorite IHG property to stay at. The staff here makes the property. I have never had as issue that I could even attempt to put in the negative category. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent place I've stayed for 16 days and I must say it is a very nice place managed by professional friendly people. The breakfast area is managed by three ladies which makes you feel like you're at home, with a beautiful smile and greeting every morning. The outside area by the pool side looks fantastic, they even have private areas were you can BBQ. My company is in partnership with the Marriott which is across the street but I am so glad that they were full and I had the opportunity to stay here. From now this hotel will be my first choice and will recommend others to stay here. Excellent place. May 3, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Horrible stay The conditioning was loud and noisy and we had a hard time sleeping. The room was not cleaned Front desk agents gave me the run around when I requested for some one to come up and clean it The hotel was a hole in the wall and resembled the Motel 6 I have never stayed in such a nasty and dirty place The carpet was dirty and they room had a horrible odor I was highly dissatisfied with the hotel and this place needs to be renovated because it is old and dusty and it is not the average holiday inn location. I regret that I booked 2 more rooms for May 9th prior to viewing the actual property. I booked an advanced rate so I am stuck with the rooms now. April 30, 2014

I can say, unequivocally, that this is one of my favorite, if not my most favorite, places to stay of all the IHC properties I stay at on an annual basis, and I stay at 140-150 properties a year. It is a pleasure from the time I make the call to reserve the room until I leave. I credit the vast majority of my accolades to the staff. They are friendly, courteous, accommodating and responsive. To sum my feels up, nobody could ask for a better Holiday Inn to stay at than the one on Gordon Road, Augusta, GA. But, they are alway sold out during Master's week, go figure. April 28, 2014

The staff in the breakfast are was unfriendly and would immediately clear your table if you went up to get a refill of anything and then would not recognize you 5 min later????? April 20, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Dining Room is a DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH! We booked this facility last July when we found out we'd won lottery tickets to the Masters for a day. This trip was to be a dream come true for the four of us, but especially my partner who never thought he'd get a chance to see Augusta. I was a bit disappointed when there were no "better" hotels to book, and a bit taken aback by the high cost associated with this special week. That was all forgotten once we walked through the door; all apprehenson was gone. We were greeted with the utmost of friendliness. The common area was comfortable and clean. The grounds beautiful. The rooms were quiet, comfortable, and clean. We did not encounter one person that acted anything but upbeat and especially happy we had come. Everyone was beyond kind and nice. There were two things that stood out on our stay: Your courtesy shuttle service to the golf course was beyond belief. We were dreading driving to the venue and finding our way. AND, the dining goodness, you need a sign in the entry highlighting the cooking skills of your chef to get more guests interested in staying inhouse for dinner! Chef Bertram cooks absolutely everything from scratch and as he told me, he uses only fresh ingredients - your dining room serves up soups and entrees that match some of the best restaurants in the business. I'd come back just for the food! He is your diamond in the rough that does not get the mention reserved for top notch home made cooking skills. Not only were dinners a treat, but we have never stayed at a Holiday Inn where all the comp breakfast foods were made in house. Thank you for a memorable stay and great food. Older property but clean and reasonably maintained. Breakfast was on par with what one expects for free. Coffee not great in the breakfast or in lobby. Probably a water issue. I enjoyed my stay here and I would stay again; however the particular night I stayed there was a lot of construction going on, and it was very noisy with doors opening and closing often. Since the doors are outside the echo was pretty loud, so it was a bit uncomfortable. I am all for renovations so this did not deter me; however once its done it will be a great facility! Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not up to standards!! I stay in quite a few Holiday Inn franchises and so far this one is not exactly up to the standards I have come to expect. While the room was not exactly dirty, it was not exactly clean either. The room did not give me a warm and fuzzy feeling about walking barefoot on the carpet (I used flip-flops). I was not able to participate in the free breakfast because it did not start until after I was already on the road. But on my second evening (Saturday, Feb 22, 2014 at around 7PM) I went to the front desk to ask about ice makers and the young lady told me that all the ice makers were broken and that I had to go to the restaurant to get any ice. I did not need ice until the morning so I decided to go buy it from one of the gas stations instead. Until I made a comment about it to the Front Desk upon my checkout. She informed me that the ice makers were not broken and that they had multiple ice makers I can obtain ice from. This explains why that lady the night before gave me a weird look when I was asking her about this. February 26, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Fantastic staff and wonderful restaurant, but below average room This hotel was a contrast in experiences. Check in went smooth with the staff being as great as it comes. And the restaurant experience in this hotel was well above average...great in fact. However, the room and bathroom was in need of a makeover/remodel/refresh. The room was an ages-old version of Holiday Inn, not the refreshed Holiday Inn Express updated and "new-car smell" version of the H-Inn experience I have enjoyed at other H-Inn properties. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by nice room I was upset that you would advertise a hotel with a full bar and not have any liquor or beer to choose from. Budweiser and Bud lime Miller lite were the only choices. I had to drink Budweiser rather than Bud light and I had a screwdriver rather than Tequila I chose this hotel because of the convenience of not having to leave the hotel to go out & drink. Upon leaving I told the hotel clerk of my experience & she assured me that a manager would be contacting me. However, I never heard from anyone. Outside of that experience the room/bed was comfortable. I like the idea that your room is cleaned daily that added a nice comfortable touch and the breakfast was delicious. November 6, 2013

I commented to my husband how clean the grout was compared to pricier name chains hotels we stayed at during our trip. We will stay again if we are ever in Augusta again. November 6, 2013

This is an older property but very well maintained,on site bar/restaurant and a nice pool area. Free breakfast with a nice assortment. The internet is great here as well. My double has lcd flat screen telly,micro and fridge and a comfy bed with a mixture of pillows all of the little things I look forward to at IHG brand hotels November 1, 2013
