Older property but clean and reasonably maintained. Breakfast was on par with what one expects for free. Coffee not great in the breakfast or in lobby. Probably a water issue. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Facility This facility is nice, and it features an outdoor patio that overlooks the pool. I enjoyed my stay here and I would stay again; however the particular night I stayed there was a lot of construction going on, and it was very noisy with doors opening and closing often. Since the doors are outside the echo was pretty loud, so it was a bit uncomfortable. I am all for renovations so this did not deter me; however once its done it will be a great facility! It began with the phone call to make the reservation with Sandra and ended with the check-in, again with Sandra. I could not expect any better service and attention than I got and always get at this Holiday Inn. It's the staff dudes, it's always the staff that makes a property. March 16, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not up to standards!! I stay in quite a few Holiday Inn franchises and so far this one is not exactly up to the standards I have come to expect. While the room was not exactly dirty, it was not exactly clean either. The room did not give me a warm and fuzzy feeling about walking barefoot on the carpet (I used flip-flops). I was not able to participate in the free breakfast because it did not start until after I was already on the road. But on my second evening (Saturday, Feb 22, 2014 at around 7PM) I went to the front desk to ask about ice makers and the young lady told me that all the ice makers were broken and that I had to go to the restaurant to get any ice. I did not need ice until the morning so I decided to go buy it from one of the gas stations instead. Until I made a comment about it to the Front Desk upon my checkout. She informed me that the ice makers were not broken and that they had multiple ice makers I can obtain ice from. This explains why that lady the night before gave me a weird look when I was asking her about this. February 26, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Fantastic staff and wonderful restaurant, but below average room This hotel was a contrast in experiences. Check in went smooth with the staff being as great as it comes. And the restaurant experience in this hotel was well above average...great in fact. However, the room and bathroom was in need of a makeover/remodel/refresh. The room was an ages-old version of Holiday Inn, not the refreshed Holiday Inn Express updated and "new-car smell" version of the H-Inn experience I have enjoyed at other H-Inn properties. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by not happy I MOSTLY STAY AT THE HOLIDAY INN ON BE LAIR ROAD, I TRIED THIS ONE BECAUSE IT WAS A LITTLE CHEAPER [YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR] I ASK FOR A CLOSE ROOM OR BREAKFAST BECAUSE MY WIFE IS HANDICAPPED, WE HAD TO DRIVE AROUND THE BUILDING BECAUSE THE WALK WAS TO FAR. I ASK FOR ORANGE JUICE THEY SAID IT WAS A 3 DOLLAR CHARGE, I NEVER PAY AT THE OTHER HOLIDAY INN AND THEY ARE BOTH IN AUGUSTA. THE VARIETY OR BREAKFAST WAS A JOKE COMPARE TO THE OTHER HOTEL. I AM A CLUB MEMBER ASK OR LATE CHECK OUT DID NOT GET IT, OR THEY SAY IT WAS NOT PUT IN THE BOOK November 13, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by nice room I was upset that you would advertise a hotel with a full bar and not have any liquor or beer to choose from. Budweiser and Bud lime Miller lite were the only choices. I had to drink Budweiser rather than Bud light and I had a screwdriver rather than Tequila I chose this hotel because of the convenience of not having to leave the hotel to go out & drink. Upon leaving I told the hotel clerk of my experience & she assured me that a manager would be contacting me. However, I never heard from anyone. Outside of that experience the room/bed was comfortable. I like the idea that your room is cleaned daily that added a nice comfortable touch and the breakfast was delicious. November 6, 2013

I commented to my husband how clean the grout was compared to pricier name chains hotels we stayed at during our trip. We will stay again if we are ever in Augusta again. November 6, 2013

This is an older property but very well maintained,on site bar/restaurant and a nice pool area. Free breakfast with a nice assortment. The internet is great here as well. My double has lcd flat screen telly,micro and fridge and a comfy bed with a mixture of pillows all of the little things I look forward to at IHG brand hotels November 1, 2013

The shower curtain smelled of mildew and it took 5 days to get it replaced. Room was not serviced daily even on days we left before 12pm.Then on check out found that I would not get points for my stay. November 1, 2013

I was there in Augusta for surgery and while I was in the hospital my wife stayed at this property for several days and all went great. I really appreciate Sandra at the front desk for taking such good care of her she really is a people person. She took care of all her needs and that really meant a lot to me. October 15, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Enjoyed Accomodations Problems Resolved Quickly I visited Augusta to participate in the Ironman Augusta 70.3, so accommodations were important. The room was very nice and bed quite comfortable. It was easy to relax the two nights prior to the event, get some good sleep. I enjoyed the poolside room, lent to a very casual experience and the easy access to the lobby and main area through the pool was nice. Was not bothered by any street traffic. Definitely recommend a poolside room. I enjoyed breakfast and coffee in the main lobby the day before the triathlon, but had to plan for coffee in my room the morning of because of getting up so early, 4:00am. It might be nice if the hotel were to consider how many guest were there for the Ironman event and set up a courtesy "breakfast" with coffee, bagels, bananas, oranges. When I go to DC for the Marine Corps Marathon we are treated to that. So, time to prepare coffee in my own room and I found the single cup coffee maker not usable. A previous guest had left the coffee filter in the water reservoir. Interesting because that's not where the filter goes. Definitely had to resolve this issue because I had to have coffee. The front desk was very helpful and provided a replacement coffee maker. Then I received a call from the front desk and they offered to discount my total bill. It was a very nice gesture and much appreciated. When I go back to Augusta for my next Ironman I will definitely stay at this Holiday Inn. Thanks for the hospitality! October 8, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Hospital test I had never stayed at this property before so I called and got a reservation and the lady at the desk her name was Kitty was so helpful she recognized me as a priority club member which made me feel welcome. I have some health issues and they really helped me feel better. I am having surgery next week and we are staying their again. If ever in that area I would recommend this hotel. October 2, 2013

If we had realized this we would not have booked. The room had an unfortunate smell that you did become accustomed too. The aircon was very noisy. That said the pool area looked very good. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Service during time of trouble I would like to thank the manager Scott Hyatt and maintenance person Erika for the special attention given to me during my recent stay. The door to my room definately had some form of electrical issue with the key lock. I reported to the front desk that I was unable to get back into my room at which time Erka actually ran to my room to assist me. She determined what needed to be done to get me back into my room and then ran back to get the necessary tools to get me into my room. As for Scott, he set me up in another room because it appeared the door would require more attention than just a quick fix. I appreciated the special attention given to me by these people, after driving 530 miles you just want to relax and not have any issues for the reat of the day.
