Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Security While the staff was friendly and the room was clean and good enough for one night, I probably would not return to this Holiday Inn. I didn't feel secure as this is a motel not a hotel and there were too many people "hanging" around. It looked like some were living there. October 21, 2012
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Needs Updating Overall we had a nice experience and good stay. The rooms were very dark on our bottom floor/side rooms. The staff were at times unprofessional. I did not think it was appropriate for them to be getting food from the buffet line while guest were still eating or also in line. The place could use redecorating and some TLC. I would probably not recommend the hotel due to this. October 20, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Resort accommodations for a hotel price My husband travels for business ALOT!!! We have stayed at various hotels and hotel chains. Normally, we are happy with a clean room,cereal and a clean pool. This place was amazing. We went during the summer after vacation. The kids had more fun at this hotel than on vacation. The pool was awesome, the restaurant was very good, had fresh lemonade and snacks during the day, plenty of room for us to play, a bar, outdoor grills and picnic areas and the staff could not have been any better. My oldest son suffers with Eosinophilia and Crohn's diseases. They arranged for a special breakfast and allowed him to eat in our room; that meant so much to us. No other hotel has ever done that. They treated us like family and I truly appreciated all they did for us. I could not believe how great this hotel was for such a small nightly rate. Hidden away from all the traffic and ciaos of Augusta, this Holiday Inn is a step back in time and into paradise. It is more like a resort than hotel. If you are ever in the Augusta area, you would be crazy to stay anywhere else. September 29, 2012
