Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Highly rated for good reason This hotel changed my opinion of what a Holiday Inn is like. It's still new, so everything is pristine. Every staff person I spoke with was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and the pillows were wonderful. Food at the bar was very good, as was breakfast buffet. It's less than a 10 minute ride from the airport. About 15-20 minute ride from downtown. This hotel was very well priced for what you get. January 31, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by tv not working For the price that I paid I was please with the hotel experience. Rooms were nice and spacious; Austin airport was 5m away and because we were to catch a fly very early the next morning it was very convenient. The only problem was that when I tried to relax watching some tv, it was broken. I was surprised because it looks like brand new. I called reception and the guy took the controler to change batteries to it. He returned but still the tv was not responsive. He offered to sent the engineer to the room and see the tv. But to that time is was already late, so, I declined the offfer and just decided to hit the bed. January 29, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great location and staff Me and my girlfriend decided to go to Austin, on a unplanned road trip. We wanted a one bed room, but they was all booked which having a room with two queens would have a big deal. But the late night manager set us up in a business class room, but only charged us for a regular room. He was very helpful with everything and extremely nice. I would highly recommend this hotel, it's close to the Capitol but even closer to 6th street. If um ever back in Austin I'm definitely staying at this hotel again. January 28, 2015

I would enjoy staying there again if the corporate price was more competive so that my company could approve. The clerk that checked me out was also very friendly and effecient. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Janice Janice (at the reception desk) went above and beyond on the morning of my check out. I was looking for complementary coffee in the lobby and she told me that there was only coffee for sale in the restaurant. She noticed my disappointed look and hurriedly (because I was leaving for work) went to the kitchen and came back with to-go cups of coffee for my co-worker and I. I realize that she didn't have to do this but it was such a simple, sweet gesture that made me feel good. With staff like that on your team you will make a lot of people happy, I was!
