Very nice hotel with a great look and low price. The hotel is close to the airport and the city. Not much else near the hotel but the quality for the price its worth it.

I had read reviews that this was the hotel to stay out in Austin and they were right. If you don't want to pay crazy prices to stay in the downtown area and you want something close to the airport choose this Holiday Inn Austin Airport. Beautiful modern and new decor greets you and clean and efficient rooms await you. I loved the exterior vanity area outside the bathroom so that you can get your hair/makeup done while someone else showers/uses the washroom.
I loved how comfortable the bed was and how the room had a fridge to keep drinks cool. The curtains didn't close all the way and let a crack of light come in - I wish there was a way to keep them shut, but I still slept well. I also think it was awesome to have a small sofa and a good desk to work on in the room. The hotel shuttle to and from the airport seemed to run at goofy times but everyone was very courteous and helpful so I didn't mind having to wait when I had to. They picked me up from the airport and greeted me very nicely. It's a great place to go and I was disappointed when, after I had checked out and later in the week tried to return to Holiday Inn Austin Airport I found the room and price rate I wanted was unavailable here. I will definitely keep this on my list.

Arrived at about noon after a 4 hour Drive from Dallas.
we wanted to get into a room to freshen-up and probably rest a few minutes before we head-out to have lunch somewhere.
We were Informed that Check-in time is at 3PM and if we wanted an early check-in, we would have to pay $50.
Not even my Priority Club Membership got us through.
I do not understand this as there are rooms available otherwise they wopuld not even attemp to offer early check-in.
Most of the time, I check-out before the 12noon checkout time without getting a refund, so why would I pay $50 to check-in 2 Hours before the 3PM check-in Time?
It does not cause the Hotel More (or loss business) why charge?
