Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by First trip to Austin Arrived late for a business trip in town, having never been to Austin before. Rooms were spacious and clean, staff were friendly, and the beds were comfortable. The towels were normal towels (not thin). Wi-Fi worked fine and it was free. Easy access to the soda machine and ice vending machine. As usual, book at Holiday Inn and don't worry about it. December 18, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Food I enjoyed my stay at the Austin Midtown, I was there for training at the hotel and my training did not allow enough time to leave the hotel and get something to eat. I was rather disappointed in the hotel restaurant and the limited menu. I would think that a hotel that is so far away from other restaurant's would have more to offer on the menu. Also, the waitresses were rather rude and got orders wrong. December 9, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Convenient Location with very clean and comfortable rooms Visited Austin / San Antonio for the Thanksgiving weekend. The hotel is located at a convenient location. The rooms were nice, clean and bright (during the day, and perfectly dark at night too). the bed was extremely comfortable, especially after a day's walking around and a lot of driving. What we didnt like was the quality of breakfast served. i thought it was very poor, especially given its a Holiday Inn and not a random hotel. Some B December 3, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Stay This was my husband and my first time in Austin. We decided to go on a whim and had a blast. The outside of the building was unimpressive and parking close to the front was hard to find. However, the employees were knowledgeable and they had a great demeanor. The staff took their time telling us all the great places and eateries in Austin, in addition to where and where not to go. The gentleman with the beard was the best (I wish we would have gotten his name). He was so delightful! We received top notch service. There are three elevators and quick. The rooms were clean including the sheets and top blanket (very important). The bathroom was clean, although there was some kind of stain on the floor (weird). The tub and sink were without damage and functioned well. We were on the 9th floor and I am afraid of heights…so I didn’t go onto the balcony! Breakfast room is in the back of the hotel, was kind of hard to find, but was nice. Breakfast was the usual. Wait staff were great. We had some really nice conversations with them in the breakfast area. I have no complaints. December 2, 2014
