Person in charge whether manager or construction foreman was so helpful, as we had trouble with our keys. He took us by golf cart to breakfast and back...went out of his way tomake us welcome. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by the upgrades should be called downgrades first let me say that your staff despite the problems with your hotel are very gracious and could not have been more polite and helpful. your problems in running your place should not reflect poorly on them. they are your issues, not your staffs. i almost feel sorry for them. so let me begin. WHAT MAJOR HOTEL CHAIN DOES NOT PROVIDE THE BASICS IN ROOM. MOUTHWASH? CUPS? THE HAIRDRYER IS NOT EVEN CONNECTED YOU HAD TO FIND IT UNDER THE SINK IN A BAG. NOT EVEN DIRECT WIRED, COFFEE ? AT LEAST 2 CHAIRS IN THE ROOM SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO HAVE SOMEONE SIT ON YOUR BED? AND ROOM SERVICE, AND EAT IT WHERE? YOU HAVE NO TABLE IN THE ROOM. I AM JUST ABOUT READY TO SAY NO MORE TO IHG. THE WORST THING THAT HAPPENED, WAS THAT YOU HAVE NO AIR IN ANY SPACE OTHER THAN THE MAIN BED AREA, WHAT ABOUT THE BATHROOM? ,YOU CAN'T EVEN REGULATE THE HEAT OR AIR? WHAT MODERN HOTEL DOES NOT ALLOW FOR THAT? YOU HAVE TO START TO SWEAT BEFORE THE AIR GOES BACK ON. I RECEIVED A PHONE CALL AT 8:45 ON THE DAY I WAS TO CHECK OUT SAYING THAT THE WATER WAS BEING TURNED OFF IN 15 MINUTES. DO YOU THINK THAT IS ENOUGH NOTICE TO GIVE A GUEST? NO REFRIGERATOR IN ROOM. I ASKED FOR A ROOM ON 2ND FLOOR AND NOT ON THE TOP FLOOR, ABSOLUTELY NOT ON THE TOP FLOOR, GUESS WHERE I ENDED UP? I ASKED FOR A ROOM NEAREST THE ELEVATOR AND ENDED UP ALMOST AT THE END OF THE HALL. YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE AUTOMATIC DOORS WHEN YOU ENTER? I STRUGGLED WITH THE WEIGHT OF THE DOORS AND MY BAGS. RIDICULOUS SITUATION, YOU HAVE SO MUCH WORK TO DO TO BE ABLE TO CALL YOURSELF A MODERN AND UP TO DATE FACILITY. ALMOST LIKE A PLACE I STAYED AT IN THE 60'S, NO KIDDING. April 6, 2015

Restaurant/bar were difficult to access due to construction. Difficult to sleep in the morning due to construction. No server for in-room movies one night. No room service on day. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Newly renovated rooms - great for price Hotel is in the middle of renovations - I stayed in a renovated room which was excellent - new beds, bathroom fixtures are all new - lighting is very adequate - furniture in room is up to date and very nice. The only down side at this time is there is no restaurant - it is being renovated - you can order food from the bar but not a large variety of choice - I ordered the burger and it was good but I would rather of had a nice salad which they did not have on the menu. Once the restaurant is re-opened I am sure the meal choices will be better. I did have an issue when booking the hotel on the phone - I was given one price and then when I received the email the price was $20 higher than I was quoted - I called the reservation line and after about 20 minutes it was resolved and my price was back to the original amount quoted on the phone.
