The noise from the AC Unit was loud and as it cycled through I kept waking up. A family with young kids were next door and lots of noise early in the morning from the room. July 9, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very happy ... My husband and I were beyond satisfied with our stay here! We came down June 6-8th, and found the hotel clean, the staff fabulous, and the room so comfy. Besides having free snacks waiting for us in the room, we were given free hot roasted peanuts and water when we checked in - not something I expected from a Holiday Inn. The hotel was an easy walk to the Harbor (maybe 5-10 at a leisurely pace), on well traveled, well lit streets, and super close to the Stadium (we could watch part of the game from our room window!) Breakfast at their restaurant was a bit expensive, but they have microwaves and fridges in every room, so next time we'll bring our own breakfast food. Overall, it was a great value for our dollar, and we are already planning on staying here when we return to Baltimore on our next trip. July 9, 2014

My husband and I decided to visit the Baltimore Inner Harbor for the 4th of July weekend and see an Orioles game as well. We have stayed at The Holiday Inn before and thought we would reserve a room this time out. I'm so glad we did. The location is great. We were greeted promptly and with a smile by Jacinta at the front desk. I was immediately greeted as an IHG member. I had requested a complimentary upgrade and received a beautiful room on the 10th floor. The view was tremendous. The room was so clean and the amenities were terrific. We had the Best for Breakfast and found the buffet and the wait staff to be great as well. Mike served us on two occasions and he was awesome. We had dinner our second night there and that was terrific as well. We had dinner in the lounge and I forgot the bartenders name but she was so sweet and helpful too it was a pleasure to be in her company. Check out was a breeze with John at the front desk. Thank you for making our stay so great! We are coming back soon! July 7, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great service and friendly staff We always come to Baltimore for the baseball games. We stayed at other hotels before but this one is the best. They have hotel water and comp gift bags for your stay. The hotel is only a block away from the stadium! It is so easy to walk into town because the location of the hotel is great! We usually eat breakfast at the Eden in the hotel and it is above average for the buffet. Everything is hot and food is good. July 4, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Noisy Air Conditioner Ths was our second stay in two weeks. First stay was troublesome due to traffic and constant noise on w lombard st. This stay was marred by a very noisy a/c unit that kept us awake the entire night. Complained next morning and asked for a partial comp on our bill but was told couldnt do it. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Baltimore baseball weekend The location here was great for going to Camden Yards or walking to the Inner Harbor. Very over priced for that privilege. Everything is extra. Breakfast was nothing special as the eggs were over cooked, and the room air conditioner is loud...otherwise it was clean. NEEDS in/out privileges for my car so I could have gone out and toured more. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by not up to par with other holiday inn hotels We booked it for the value. Shower was not cleaned well. Brown build up on the grout in the shower. When we complained they sent someone up to clean it and it was still not clean. I had to clean it myself. Food program for groups not so accommodating. They gave a reduce rate for our group to eat but only if you get 100% participation. Totally impossible goal for any group. Our room was getting crank calls from another guests room and the hotel couldn't even inform us who was doing it. You get what you pay for. July 2, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Nice hotel - Needs new beds Great hotel & great location for O's fans. Friendly staff and clean rooms. A couple of negatives: The firehouse across the street leaves little room for peace & quiet. Sirens are can break up a good night's sleep. (Police sirens didn't help either-- welcome to Baltimore) The beds are simply the worst. Extremely uncomfortable to sleep in. But everything else was nice. Not sure I'd return because I prefer a good night's sleep. But overall, wasn't my worst experience in a hotel. July 1, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Poor hotel, nice staff The hotel is not updated at all! The beds are old and warped, the pillows are still standard size, not updated to most hotels. The furniture is old! The rooms are dark and dingy. My bed was extremely warped and the mattress was loud enough to wake myself up turning over in my sleep. The food was gross. We had room service breakfast and it was well below average. This hotel is below average in comparison to other Holiday Inn hotels. The redeeming quality: nice staff. June 30, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by not a pleasant stay the toilet was clogged and the maintenance people tried three separate times to unclog it with no success. the shower didnt drain, the maintenance people said that it was because it was clogged with hair and we should just pull it out. after the hair was removed it still didnt drain. the maintenance people then proceeded to pull the shower handle off of the shower. they said " well it looks like nobody's getting a shower now." the shower head was broken and just hung downward also. the room had hair all over it as if it wasnt cleaned. the bed skirts were also very dirty. after all of that the best the hotel staff would do was give me 4000 points and refused a refund. the room and service was not good at all. we will not be staying at this location again. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Transportation After several conversations regarding transportation to and from the hotel only 1 gentleman offered to help us with making the arrangements. A call from the airport, a visit to the front desk twice, I was dismissed to figure things out on my own. The last evening when I thought the individual wasn't at the desk, I asked someone else and he was kind enough to tell me to just let him know when I would be departing,that he would handle it for me. We ended up taking the train, that a stranger instructed us about. When I told the gentleman at the desk that evening (the individual in question quickly left the desk as I approached) he told us which which train to look for. I appreciate his help with this matter. **The answer I was originally given was that I had to call the airport to arrange transportation. It was not clear if that was for the shuttle or a cab. Loud sirens and horns at regular intervals Staff was friendly and helpful but room left a lot to be desired, Probably would not use this hotel again if other options were available. June 27, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Stay I checked in on June 23rd and Checked out on June 24th we were there for a baseball game the hotel and their staffing were very polite and respectable I really enjoyed my stay it was in walking distance to the field when we come back for another baseball game we will stay here. My only issue is that they charge you $25.00 to park because they do not have their own parking that would be my only issue with the hotel. June 27, 2014

Check in was a breeze, day staff and night staff truly made the stay so much fun a relaxing and always there to help! The room was amazing had a slight problem with draining our tub, but maintenance was there in minutes and fixed our issued! Great city can't wait to come back!! June 26, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Vacation I arrived a little early (1:00 P.M.) and had plans to take my grandson to Fells Point and the Urban Pirate tour. I figured my room would not be ready, but checked anyway. It was not, but that was okay. I returned around 4:00 and room was not ready because the previous party had left quite a mess. The Front Desk Supervisor, Sonika was GREAT. We were wet from the rain we encountered, and she had us go and get snacks while our room was being cleaned. When the room was ready, Sonika brought our keys to us and apologized. She was sincere and made up for the wait. I will stay again because of people like Sonika and the staff at the restaurant, who were also very friendly and caring. The pool was nice and our grandson enjoyed it thoroughly. The life guard was cool too! Nice walk down Eutaw St. to Orioles game and to Inner harbor which was great. To the manager of this Holiday Inn, thank all your staff for being great, and give Sonika a special thank you. We had a great time. June 17, 2014
