A very kind man who was the reservation manager , upgraded our rooms to the better rooms in the new building. He was always available all over the hotel to help us. It was very nice stay , polite staff, comfortable beds and great service. Hotel's location is grat too. Our stay was just 2 nights,I hope to come back here again September 16, 2014

Nowadays, it will be my own choice to stay in this hotel for business trip or family holiday. The hotel is located among several places I would like to visit for business or leisure, and if I am going to use the public transportation to and from my place, it is not too far from the shuttle bus station. I enjoy the atmosphere in front of the hotel in the morning when I am about to make my business trip in Bandung. Some places to eat and, of course, ATMs, are in walking distance. September 12, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Many areas to improve Services: Reservation via email did not received any respond and especially it was apparaently due to no room. In particular this reservation was to attend a 5 days training in the hotel and the emails have been send to general reservation and also toa praticular staff. This is really a disppointed service Break fast: The food quality and variety can be improved and it is not good enough in general. The food served for executive lounge also not fresh The good point is the friendliness of the staff and the room comfort is fair enough. September 5, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by The Old one but Moderate Cool I was stay a night in Holiday Inn Bandung, bring back my old memory when i was here 7 years ago and it was look the same!! it means the property look little bit old and less than modern. Although they said the building was renovated, but it happened only in the lobby and the room was completely look the same as i stayed here in 2008. the location holds the best value of this hotel, easy to go anywhere in Bandung, the rate little bit overpriced for the old ambiance, Overall, worth to try if modern ambience isn't your preferred for you to stay August 24, 2014

Changed room after 2 night cause it was too noisy next door (ktv function the staff mentioned? - room 614) Staff at concierge did not really welcome my partner and i on the first day of our stay. Please make sure you get breakfast buffet included because having it at ala carte is not value for money. August 21, 2014

Location is okay, walking distance to Riau street. KFC, Pizza Hut are just a few minutes walk away from the hotel. July 31, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable bed , great people but room too SMALL This hotel staff is very friendly and always willing to assist, especially the club executive they are one of the best !!. Bed is very comfortable, Breakfast is good The downside is, the room is way too small to be able to relax and there is no option to choose. The tower room is especially weird in design, the bathroom is huge but the bed room is too small. if you compare with a higher class hotel (5*) in the area, the HI Bandung dollar/sqm is more expensive !!!. (base on June 22 hotels web site, member best rate for 3 nights stay, i am also member of that hotels loyalty program) When people understand this, they may choose the 5* !! I do hope the hotel management really look into this and give your loyal member a better value, if not, then sooner or later the HI Bandung will loose their loyal customer ! June 22, 2014

I was caught off-guard when the reception upgraded my executive room to a suite room because the executive rooms were fully booked. The suite room was huge and wonderful. I love the location of the hotel on Jalan Dago as it's very near to the Factory Outlet shops and also very convenient for food. The breakfast spread was also quite good. Overall, me and my wife had a wonderful stay in this hotel and we will be staying here again when we visit Bandung. May 7, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Executive Club North Wing Hello HolidayInn Bandung, I was stayed there on 20-26 April 2014 in Executive Club North Wing Room. My first impression when I entered the room is....it was very narrow for executive club level..too many furniture inside the room. The furniture still classic one. It was also difficult to open and close the curtain, I have to climb into the sofa if I want to close the curtain. but anyway, holidayinn bandung had great great location in Dago Bandung, the bed quality is really great, we were offered 2 types of pillow, firm and soft, sleep quality was good due to great lighting inside the bedroom. Breakfast quality and variety also one thing to be improved from my opinion. I was tried to get breakfast on executive floor, only 2 persons inside, me and my mate, it was really quiet place, so on the next day I decided to get breakfast at Kebun Bambu restaurant downstairs. No bein tv channel, for me as a football lovers, it was really disappointed. last but not least, the elevator temperature was too hot for me, and the number of elevator that had access to basement is only one, so sometimes I have to move from 1 elevator to another with my luggage. Problem #1: Walked into my Non Smoking guest room only to step on a used match on the carpet Problem #2: Fired up my laptop only to logged on to a snail-paced wifi network which is free ONLY to IHG Rewards member. Problem #3: Went down to the Braga Bar for a pre dinner relaxation, find myself a good spot in the Non Smoking section only to discover that other guests were freely lighting up their cigarettes in the Non Smoking section a couple of feet away from where I was seated with the bar staff blatantly turning a blind eye towards this transgression! Needless to say, I was out of there in a heartbeat. Problem #4: I was assigned a room facing the main Ir. H. Juanda road on the 5th floor and this proved to be a disaster cause the window was not adequately soundproofed and I was awoken a couple of times by the blaring sound of motor vehicles. Problem #5: Ordered an in room Indonesian breakfast. Tasted so bland yet they charged me a HIGHER amount than what was stated on the door knob menu! BIGGEST problem of all: Reception staff's indifferent attitude when I tried to engage her on the above problems upon check out. She just ignored me when I brought up problem #1 and then just passed the phone and let me talk to the restaurant staff (which ended up nowhere when she claimed not knowing what was the price quoted on the door knob menu) when I tried to dispute the in room breakfast price. Note that NO apologies were offered at all. My first and only stay at this hotel. Avoid at all cost! March 8, 2014

Except they was overlooked on my airport transfer (airport pick up) that was supposedly already i did mentioned in the agoda confirmation booking about my flight details. Regret to say, with so many luggage and no trolley bag in bandung airport (limited supply i think) and with baby, i have to call hotel about the airport pick up. Sadly, my name was not in the list for airport pick up even though in my agoda confirmation bookings voucher that i received, its already clearly stated about my flight details. Forget about that, it was settle as one of the holiday inn staff already scheduled to pick up 2 guest from same flight with us. without thinking much, we willing to car pool instead of waiting another. Overall stay it was a pleasant stay during my leisure holiday in Bandung. A great and friendly staff, a nice room, a wide and variety selection of buffet breakfast. As it was 17 years old hotel in bandung, perhaps need to refurbish some furniture in room equipped with the latest design and technology. As i would like to recommend this hotel as it was offer free airport pick up and transfer from and to airport. So convenient and no need to worry about taxi arrangement. I would like to consider stay again for my next visit in Bandung. Thanks January 30, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Quiet place to relax Stayed in both the Classic (old) wing and the Modern (new) rooms. The newly renovated room was much more comfortable. The first stay was in the Classic suite room. It was big and came with free soft drinks in the fridge. But the furniture and bathroom rather old. When i returned after few days, they put me in the new wing where the room was very modern and nicely decorated. You will be pleased to know that the hotel offers pick up services from both the train stations and airport both ways. But it will be necessary to take taxi (blue birds) if you want to go anywhere from its location. Mr Andres was very attentive to the needs and accomodating in extending late check-out for my late afternoon flight. January 28, 2014

The breakfast also taste delicious and enough variation. And the hotel staff very friendly and helpful. The only thing that should be improved is the bathroom towel. We think it's not smell good.
