After so many night of staying with various hotel chain in various country and making comparision between price that i paid vs the value, Still think Holiday Inn is the best choice with the Budget available.
So for those who don't have big budget to pay for hotel and don't want to scracfy any comfort and safety, this will be the choice.

Truly recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a relaxing stay. This is my 5th stay in this hotel and out of 5- my two stays were for a longer period (2 weeks). This hotel is close to business destinations. Train station is very near to this hotel and one can enjoy the beautiful view of the city if travelling in train.
Excellent!!! Overall good experience.

Good location but traffic is rather bad in morning (8 ~ 10)am and evening (5~ 7)pm; Got a private hire that told me, 10min for 500metres travelled.

I have been visiting Bangkok twice a year for the last six years and I have always stayed at this hotel. The staff are fantastic, there are no words to express their willingness to help you out and make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The rooms are spacious and clean and the facilities and staff at the executive lounge are superb. They always serve you with a smile, nothing is too much for them. I always stay on either 23rd or 24th floor and even the lady who cleans the rooms remembers me every time and knows to stock my room fridge with diet coke cans instead of coke. Even got my favourite fruit, mangosteen, every day.
I would not consider staying anywhere else in Bangkok, highly recommended.

I always feel welcome in this hotel.. My husband and I had stayed at this hotel for the last 15 years.. As we go for business, we need a clean and big room to accommodate our merchandise.
The more important thing is their HONESTY..
I highly recommend this place to anyone..

My second time here. There will be a third time. And a fourth time. And more. Room are clean, comfortable and quiet for a relaxing stay.
Breakfast is good with enough choices to satisfy vegetarians and meat eaters.
There's the Blue Elephant Royal Thai cuisine 10-15 minutes walk away. You could try Taling Pling nearby and Bussaracum Thai cuisine just a short walk away.

Holiday Inn in Silom has been a home away from home for many years.
I do business in Thailand and loved the feeling and comfort of coming back to Holiday Inn after a long day.
As I walk in their doors, they know me by my name, they know how I have my breakfast, how I like my coffee and this is all coming from the staff of Holiday Inn.
I recommend Holiday Inn to everybody for their stay in Silom.
And hope they have a great experience and enjoy the same hospitality and professionalism that their staff has to offer.

I can't say enough nice things about this property. I was in Bangkok for 3 days, so I stayed at this property. I had stayed at the other Bangkok property, but I thought this one was far better. The location isn't quite as central, but don't get me wrong, Silom is a very good location, and only a 5 minute taxi to Siam Square.
Upon check in I was greeted by the friendly staff, who were so very accommodating, and quickly got me checked in, recognizing my Platinum Elite status. My bag was quickly delivered to my room, and in my room I found the property to be clean, modern, and recently upgraded using great fittings.
I stayed 3 days, and then continued my journey on to Phuket where I stayed for two days, and then ended up coming back to Bangkok to fly out. Normally I'd just stay at one of the airport hotels during a stopover, but my experience had been so positive at Holiday Inn Silom that I went back for two more days.
I can't recommend this hotel enough. It's a great location with great shops and restaurants around it, but more importantly the warm and friendly staff at check in and at the concierge and the bell desk and taxi stand are what really made this property a gem in my eyes. I truly felt like a valued customer, which is rare these days for hotels. I go to Bangkok several times per year, so I will definitely be back soon! Thanks for the great experience!

I got a very comfortable stay with an excellence room and services during my week staying. The room was big and clean including the bath room. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. I do want to stay again in this hotel for my next visit.

Spent 5 nights with my Family at this Holiday inn, Hotel is in a GREAT Location, Sliom Village is just down the street. This area has plenty of places to eat and a great central location to enjoy the sights of Bangkok. BTS Sky train is not far, about a 10 minute walk south of the hotel. Our room was clean and comfortable; Breakfast has a nice spread of western & Asian dishes. Staff was courteous as always greeted us with a smile. Platinum recognition appreciated. Had a great time, I have been coming to this property for about 5 years, and I will definitely return again. CONS: they need to change their policy of only a 3 person MAX per room; * they count minor children (11 and 2) as 3rd and 4th person, We were lucky we had gotten an extra room for grand-mamma, otherwise we would have had to get an extra room just because of our 2 year old baby. If they do not change this policy, I will have to look elsewhere in the future.

I stay in a few Holiday Inns in Macau, Hong Kong, Manila and this. Amongst all, this hotel has the lowest service quality .. This is my first stay in the hotel, so naturally I would assume the hotel staffs would give directions for me instead of waiting for me to ask. Firstly, upon check-in, the reception failed to inform me where the lift to the rooms are. I had to ask. Secondly, they did not tell me where I can have my breakfast, which was a part of my room package. I had to ask around the next day. Next, when I went for the breakfast buffet, nobody cared to get me a seat (even when the place was half empty). I told the waiter I came alone, they let me in. I had to find my own seat. After finding 1, I asked another waiter if I could sit there, they said ok and left. I had to move something on the table myself just to show it's seated by someone while I go get my food. After coming back, someone else was sitting there instead. So I had to find another spot. Everything else relating to the room, internet (a little slow especially at night) on the free internet IHG rewards membership and TV were fine.

I have over the years had the opportunity to stay at the Holiday Inn Bangkok Silom several times, and it is always a joy. The rooms are comfortable and always kept in perfect condition and the conference area has all we ever need, but what strikes me the most is how all staff at all departments manage to make me feel personally welcome, and give that personal touch to evereything that you would expect from a small hotel - this despite the several hundred rooms of the hotel. This trait combined with the highest level of professionalism from all staff makes Holiday Inn Bangkok Silom an excellent choice for business travellers and holiday makers alike.

I stayed in holiday inn silom after 5 months in "east asia big trip" for my last night in the trip . when i arrive there my room was not ready yet, so the nice reception Manager gave me free drink voucher and also free wifi for 24 h . the room was really nice a bit old fashioned but really big and comfortable . the hotel close to BTS station only 2 station from Siam center .

Recently stayed 7 nights at the Holiday Inn Silom, as we were visiting Bangkok on holiday for the first time.
This hotel is located in a convenient location, close to the BTS station (Surasak), and the Central Pier (Sampan Thaksin) to catch the river ferries. There is also plenty of food available along Silom Road too.
Stayed at the older wing of the hotel. Unfortunately when we checked into the room, it had a musky smell; probably because its interior is old. Fortunately the room air-conditioning worked well and setting the fan to its highest speed helped to reduce the musky smells.
Check in at the hotel went smoothly. We arrived a bit early but the staff were very helpful and managed to get us our room so that we could check in earlier. Thank you!
We especially liked the morning buffet breakfast, which has a large spread of local and international food. The food quality, taste and service are very good, so this was one of the highlights of our stay.
The other area that we wanted to highlight was the room housekeeping. On five of the days during our stay, when we returned to our room in the late afternoon, we found that the room had still not been cleaned up yet. So we had to sit out in the lobby to wait for the housekeeping staff to finish up the cleaning. My guess is that the hotel may be short-handed on housekeeping staff? I would like to suggest to the hotel that they should aim to finish the room housekeeping by around 2.00pm in the afternoon, so that guest can use their rooms in the late afternoon. This has generally been my experience in hotels in other parts of the world, and I think the HI Silom can do the same. Otherwise, the room housekeeping was neat and tidy.
Internet was complimentary, and the internet worked very well with good speed.
Check out went smoothly, and the hotel concierge was most helpful in getting us a taxi to the airport.
Overall a pleasant stay; it would have been better if the housekeeping can be improved, and perhaps the rooms in the older wing of the hotel can be given an interior refresh/renovation.

It is a very bad hotel, in terms of services and facility. The room I was in was very old, not clean (stains every where) and the bath room was a disaster (drainage was blocked, not clean, ....). For sure I will not use this hotel again and will never recommend it to anyone.

I really cannot say enough about this Holiday Inn. However, I must first say tat I was upgraded for both my stays, so I was in premium rooms. But the rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The hotel was clean throughout. The breakfast was fabulous. Anything you could want. I had dinner with clients in the Tandori restaurant. Food, service, decor,and atmosphere were all excellent. Live Indian music was a nice touch, if a little loud. The hotel is located just off the expressway, so it is quick and easy to get to. A great place to stay and relax.

Every time I visit Bangkok, I love staying at the Holiday Inn Silom. The location is great, the staff are always very friendly and professional, and the rooms very good.
My only small comments / suggestions are:
Provide barrister coffee in the Breakfast buffet (the standard brewed coffee is not the best), and do something to fix the gap on the shower door (it's impossible to have a shower without water running through this gap and all over the bathroom floor.
Also, as per my previous reviews, the building exterior façade is in desperate need of a make-over - it is looking very old and faded and detracts from what is otherwise a great hotel.
The pool also seriously needs some more shaded seating/lounge areas.

Good Room in the Crown Tower, very comfortable with excellent breakfast & room service. The Indian restaurant tandoor with live Ghazals is one of the best. We enjoyed our stay at Holiday Inn.

Service was great from bell boys, maids, room service to Exec Club personnel.
Only problem was we were next to a toddler who either cried or made intermittent noises all day (there was an interconnecting door so sound came through). As my husband was unwell this upset him. We did not ask to change as he did not want the hassle of packing up and changing rooms.
Same toddler ran all over the exec lounge crying and disturbing the peace in the evening.
As it is not Thai culture to address these problems, I suggest rules should be incorporated. Such as no babies or toddlers in the executive club in the evening. Also no child under the age of 12 to be allowed to access the provided snacks alone.
Executive staff members are the BEST!

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Silom, my third visit to the hotel, with my daughter and daughter in law for three nights. The hotel location is brilliant with every thing you need nearby. The staff are all very helpful, and the breakfast as good as any I have eaten anywhere. We will definitely be back to see them again.
