Greeting us at the main entrance was a very friendly and helpful bellman who delivered a quick and proper luggage service right at we arrived. We're impressed by the elegant lobby with spacious and comfortable waiting area where guest can take a short rest after a long way to your hotel and wait for the check in procedure.
We were assigned in room 1202 in the old tower where the interior furnitures and equipments were not quite new and modern. In return for this, our room had a stunning view to the pool and surrounding buildings. We entered the bathroom to take a quick shower before continuing our schedule and found our room was the handicapped room. We're fine with this but there was yellow water running out when we opened the tap at bathtub. We had to wait for a while for water to get clear. Moreover the bathtub stopper chain was rusty and couldn't block water so that we called someone to fix it. After a while, a Housekeeper came to our room, she did something in the bathroom and left without saying anything. Then we checked and found she sticked the stopper into bathtub so tight that the water couldn't drain. We waited for a while but no one came back. In order not to get our schedule postponed, I called the operator to cancel this request and said we would call back later. Finally we decided to take the stopper out of the bathtub and took the shower. However, there was no bathroom curtain so when we opened the hand shower, water flashed over the floor and it's totally wet. I think the room should have been inspected carefully to fix all of these defects before assigning for guest so that guest could really enjoy the services of 4 star hotel.
The morning after that, we went down to have breakfast at your restaurant.
The foods were not quite good and diversity as our expectations. After finishing half of our meals, no staff came to invite us tea or coffee which is certainly offered at a 4-5 star hotel but not here. I had to call the waitress for this. They set up dressing on the food counters but there was no dressing dish and I had to call the waiter for this again.
We don't know whether your hotel noticed and put an alert on our room about our complaint before but no receptionist asked us about this when we did the check out procedure.
We had such an amazing time in Thailand but if the stay in your hotel were more convenient and comfortable, this trip would definitely exceed our expectation and satisfaction. Though it's only 1 night stay but it effected a lot to our experience this time.Hope that with our constructive comments above, the infrastructure and service quality in your hotel will be concerned and improved soon so that Holiday Inn Silom can be the best choice of tourists when they come to Thailand.

Good Experience with HI Silom . But the hotel a little bit far from BTS Surasak.
