Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A+ Service I have stayed at this location for several months now off and on for training. The staff are so friendly and willing to help in any way. I like to drink coffee in the evening after arriving and one of the staff made a fresh pot for me. He went out of his way to accomodate me. Some people have a gift or talent for working with the public. Dominque, Jacob and the other young man, I believe his name is RalpheI, or something like that, are these type of people. They are the ones that make the first impression when walking through the doors. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to the area for business or pleasure. You won't be disappointed. The rooms are clean, beds are comfortable and the pillows are great. Just a wonderful place to stay. February 25, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Escape The hotel and staff are exceptional. We had plans to be in the Huntington/Barboursville area for the weekend (but planed on day trips). After American Water - West Virginia informed the public about the water contamination in Charleston and the surrounding area - my wife, daughter and I decided to get out of the Charleston area. The hotel looks to be relatively new. The staff greeted us better than family. The room was extremely comfortable and clean. The buffet wasn't suppose to open until 6:30am (we had to leave by 6:30am) - we walked up at 6:10am and they had everything prepared, fed us and sent us on our way by 6:30am. The restaurant staff were extremely polite and courteous. It was a short stay - moved to the Holiday Inn/ Downtown Huntington Saturday morning for the next two days. But, I definitely will stay here in the future. January 15, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by few things needed Our room that was promised to us was not available for us when we arrived as promised that it would be by a young Lady named I think Macy or Marcy not for sure. a young man named Raphy helped us out so much and was able to get the room we wanted originally. he done an outstanding job. Room Service should check back with the guest to make sure the food was alright. And Not enough trash cans in the Suites. Jacob was especially nice and he too does a great job. The rooms are spotless. The water pressure however is awful. Over all we will gladly make plans to stay again at this property. I would really make sure front desk would not make promises to people and then not even try to make them reality I mean not even a note in our folio as to our request so I say Poor Job to the Young Lady, She needs to make sure job selection. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by staff is awesome.. We stay at this hotel several times a year when traveling back and forth to Virginia and have always found the staff and hotel to be great. Our last stay was not the best..not due to the property or staff but due to a little dog next door who decided to whine and bark at early hours of the morn. When checking out I mentioned it to the staff and they were unaware that a pet was in the room next to us. They apologized for the inconvenience and offered us breakfast.i believe they were truly sincere but by this time I just wanted to get on the road.thanks to HI for the offering...and we will be back..hopefully for a better nights rest with no whining dogs next door. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Was allowed to bring our pet! The staff was super helpful and friendly. The room was well maintained and spacious. There is an eatery on site, but we had a room with a kitchenette so we had our own food with us. We are so very grateful we were allowed to bring our pet with us. It means a lot to have our furry friend be allowed to come traveling. Paying the extra fee was well worth it to us. We could not have had our holiday visit if the pet was not allowed to stay as well. The indoor pool was a big hit with everyone. The only one weird thing about our stay was the maintenance guy showed up to check the air filter on the heating system. I think this should be done when the room was vacated not when customers are present. It was very annoying. Other than this incident, the staff was very professional and accommodating. We enjoyed our visit to your establishment very much and will plan on staying for future visits. January 1, 2014
