Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very nice hotel with friendly attentive staff The hotel is lovely. Our room was quite comfortable and good looking. We stayed 2 nights on our way to Hilton Head so we could explore Beaufort. We really enjoyed Jason, the bar tender. He was full of helpful stories and information about the area. It was our first trip to Beaufort. We plan to go back to happy hour while we're in the area just to talk with him some more. February 14, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Family Reunion This was an excellent property for our reunion, a very good value. Especially nice was the welcoming staff. Everyone we had contact with was friendly and appeared eager to make you feel at home. The bar and restaurant area was quite attractive and looked out onto the marshes with a large outdoor deck. Due to the weather we didn't get a chance to enjoy this as much as we would, had it been a little warmer. The rooms were spacious and very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable, All in all this is a property where we would stay again for a visit to Beaufort. February 12, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Ok This hotel has a lot of potential, but falls short. The room was in disrepair. It looked like management has never set foot in the room. The stay could have been given 5 stars, because the jacuzzi was really nice, the bed was comfortable, but kept falling off the supports so our heads were lower than our feet. The door latch was very loose, there were water stains over the jacuzzi, and the heater needs repair. The heater had a normal noise level then would suddenly get very loud. It was so annoying that we slept without the heater, but my husband kept waking up cold. Overall, minor repairs would have made us feel very good about or stay. February 12, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very Nice Hotel The staff was really nice and extremely helpful. The room was large and clean. The only problem was that the stairs only exited to the outside of the building. I wanted to use the stairs but had to use the elevator. I do recommend this hotel. It was about 25 minutes from MCRD Parris Island. When I asked for a late checkout, the staff made the adjustment very fast. I ate breakfast Friday morning at the restaurant, the pancakes were not very good, the bacon was good, and the service was excellent. January 25, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable beds not so much couch. Holiday Inn Suites in Beaufort SC was very nice. Everything was great except for the couch in our suite was old and very uncomfortable. We enjoyed the pool, restaurant and lounge. Staff was extremely nice and very helpful. Would highly recommend. January 14, 2014
