Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Inexperience Staff and poor service Reception checked me in gave me a ground floor room, requested a different room due to closeness to elevator and lot of traffic. Her response is there is no more room. After speaking to the manager on duty and after I told her that I had a reservation she realized the problem is the inexperience clerk then check me into a higher floor room. It took over 30 minutes for this transaction and is very frustrated that the staff is so in attentive. They failed to acknowledge that we are Platinum member and offer an arrival package or points, Overall room quality is poor, bed is concave and room has a stale smell. This is one of the poorest Holiday Inn property I had stayed. March 4, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Motel is outdated, needs to be remodeled, ASAP! As soon as we walked in, I noticed the set up and décor was the same as it was 8-10 years ago. When signing in I was acknowledged as an IGH Rewards Club Member, and the sign in process was quick and easy. Before the paperwork was printed, the front desk associate/clerk asked me if I realized I booked the 2 room presidential suite. I stated I was aware, she gave no explanation for asking. I am assuming she asked to make sure I did not make a mistake making the online reservation. I would hate to think she asked due to my appearance(boots, blue jeans, Harley t-shirt, & cap), but I will just assume she was asking to assure I did not make a mistake online. She was very polite, cordial and professional. Once we arrived to the room I noticed the room décor has not changed either. The carpet in one of the bedrooms had a crease with a hump, the curtain/shades were dreary looking in both rooms, and the windows were filthy. The only thing that was done to the rooms since my last stay (8-10yrs) was the bedding and the tub/showers now have a curved shower curtain rod. In the living area there were pieces of food and crumbs on the floor under the lamp table, as well as a thumb tacks in the wall and under the edge of the table with torn pieces of plastic, which may have been used for a back drop. The thermostat seemed to have a mind of it's own, I placed the thermostat on 68 when we went to bed, I woke up around 5:30 am due to the fact I was warm, went to the thermostat it was set at 81 with the room temp of 72. When I went to get ice, the ice machine did not work, I went down the stairs to the next floor, ice machine did not work either. I took the stairs all the way down to the 3rd floor where I finally found a ice machine that worked. I read other reviews where customers stated the ice machines did not work, but I figured they would be all working by now. I think the maintenance manager is not performing his/her duties due to the fact most of the ice machines are still inoperable. I think the General Manager may need to address the house keeping issues as well as maintenance issues. It seems the owner of this property needs to make much needed repairs and renovations!
