Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great ambiance The hotel lobby/ lounge area was a great place to hang out and meet folks. The front desk staff was courteous, helpful, and efficient. The breakfast crew was not so attentive though, but still had an okay breakfast. The room I was in was very dark and could use a little updating, but it was comfortable and I slept well. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by No sleep and staff didnt care or compensate me bad stay I have stayed twice in last month at the holiday inn plaza in beaumont texas. Both times they had a convention or family reunion. Both times we got no sleep because of kids running the halls screaming n playing as well as the adults laughing n talking in the hallway at 4 in the morning. After calling front desk who seemed indifferent n just said sorry for your inconvenience n hung up. Next morning i called the manager n she said well im sorry i ll give you 2000 points.. Really? Omgosh. Security was there in lobby n watched the kids running around the whole lounge n did nothing. We have stayed here for years but it seems that they are most concerned with the "big money" people instead of the patrons that stay frequently. I am so disappointed n frustrated in holiday inn and i wont grace their doors at this one in beaumont or any holiday inn.. They dont seem to care bout our one or two night stay.. I guess not enough money spent.. I really like them but the way we were treated was wrong..thx July 22, 2015

Room a/c was not working properly, water dripping from ceiling, ceiling tile fell to the floor, moved to another room where a/c did not work at all. Had to eat in bar/lobby area. Unable to use pool or Jacuzzi as it was full of unruly children who had no adult or staff supervision. July 22, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not one of Holiday Inn's better hotels Not a hotel I would recommend. No place to relax in the hotel. Lounge is simply a small bar in the lobby, close to main entrance where hot air enters when the door opens (OFTEN!). Poor restaurant. Vending and ice machines were not working. Had to get ice from an Igloo ice chest at the front desk. July 22, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Older Hotel Stay here because of the 2 bedroom option. Each time, the air was not cool. Room never got over 75 degrees, no matter the setting. No ice machines worked on any floor. Had to get housekeeping to get ice from kitchen. No exhaust fan in bath. Older hotel. Needs updating. July 17, 2015
