Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by sound proofing This is my first time reviewing a hotel on line and regrettably it's not good. My family and I were awoken both morning by loud footsteps from the room above ours. It was a weekend getaway, so sleeping in would have been nice. I think the building may have been constructed poorly because it seemed as if soundproofing didn't exist and you could hear the light fixtures rattling with each footstep. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. I would not recommend this to anyone who may want to get a good nights sleep. October 23, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by newspaper delivery This hotel did not deliver a morning newspaper at the outside of the room. I really like to pick up a paper and read in the room before changing clothes and leaving room in the morning. Most hotels deliver papers. I stayed at Holiday In Capital Washington DC 5 days last summer. Holiday Inn Capital has nearly 500 units but I received a paper every morning. October 16, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good Meeting and Sleeping Rooms Held an event for 30 people at this hotel. All participants liked the location and the price. Sleeping rooms were clean and quiet and the meeting room was just the right size for our group. The bar area was a nice place to relax and watch some football or set at the bar and converse. All staff were accommodating and met our service needs. October 16, 2014
