Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Noisy next door occupants not properly handled by staff. At about 1am heard noise outside of room and then continuous noise in room next door (people talking and banging on the wall). Informed the night clerk who said she would take care of it. The guilty group had checked in at 10pm. It was quiet for about 15 minutes then the noise began again (kid yelling and wall banging). After being awake since 1am, we checked out at around 4am. The clerk ask how our stay was and of course I explained the problem (she was the clerk who took our call at 1am). She gave us $25 off the room charge which I think is very insufficient considering the lack of sleep that both my wife and I suffered. We are staying at the Fisherman's Wharf HI Inn and Suites in San Francisco in August and are now considering changing to another hotel after our experience at the Beckley Inn. July 19, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Large room and comfortable I was pleasantly surprised by how large the room was and that it had a "real" thermostat on a wall to control the temperature. The bed was comfortable though I found the pillows somewhat lumpy. The reception staff was very helpful and there was freshly made popcorn in the lobby. We ate at the restaurant for dinner and the food was good. Service was so-so. July 18, 2015
