The staff solved my problems efficient. My priority points were not enough to stay in this hotel. They allowed me to use my daughter's points and made it real. I appreciate their services.
The breakfast in this hotel is wonderful. Good quality food.

The staff here is very kind and always get ready to help us. The newspaper everyday is given on time never delayed. And this is the first hotel I received a 'thank you' letter from the cleaner after I gave the tips. However, the sink and the shower area are too small. Anyway, this is a recommended hotel.

I HAVE TO PRAISE THE WARMTH OF THE ROOM STAFF. THEY ARE REALLY CONSIDERATE AND THEY SHOWED QUICK RESPONSE TO MY TINY NEEDS DURING MY SHORT STAY.

pillow case smelly, never change after the previous customer check out the room. was request to change it and house keeping only could replace the bed sheet for me but not the pillow case, was told they do not have the clean pillow case.

I had two stayings at Holiday Inn Beijing Deshengmen. The first one was good. The second one was unpleasant. When I checked in, I was told that I can only have a standard two single bed room, I said that my reservation was for a standard King size bed room. The check in person appeared to be in-patient. Eventually, I was given a standard king size bed room with a 10% increase in price (on web, all standard rooms are the same price). At the check out, I was charged for a full day internet use, in reality I only used for less than 30 minutes (11/2, 10:30am – 10:58am). When I asked to verify the internet use, I was told that my internet use started at 11/2, 1:00am. Fact is that I only requested the password at around 10:00am, 11/2. I asked to see hotel manager, no response. I guess this will be my last stay at Holiday Inn Beijing Deshengmen.

Overall it is a good experience...however the hotel is a bit far away from the nearest subway station. It would be a good choice if the guest already decides to take a cab between subway station and the hotel. It's walking distance to Hou Hai...but to be honest it is still a far way to walk (around 30 minutes) and it's very frustrated when you accross the bridge and roundabout. The room is neat and comfortable, quiet during the night. People work there are friendly, however the gate boy does not seem to have enough knowledge to point the right way that I'm looking for...or maybe I didn't make my question clear enough.

Breakfast : Very poor standard fried eggs for guests. Poor fruits cutting and preparation. It spoiled my day when saw that the eggs were fried in bad presentation. But overall service at the restaurant is good.
Main gate: normally crowded with people smoking in front of the main gate of hotel. Hope they can be "moved" away from the gate while smoking.
Reception: Long check-in and check-out. Receptionist at the desk answering calls while attending to the guest in front of them. This is improper manner and chaotic.
Gym room: I saw some guests running without a proper wear and shoes. Is this correct?
Transportation: It is normally difficult to get a taxi in the morning. Propose hotel consider to give out 20 RMB or more coupon to taxi driver who pick up guest at peak hours. Encourage taxi to come to hotel if they are nearby during peak hour.
Exclusive lounge: Good Service and well prepared food and drinks.

It was an only one night stay, but absolutely plaisant. This the kind of hotel where we feel management and his team is caring about the customer...it is what I call "customer orieted"...thank you everybody for this pleasant stay.

Have visited the hotel a couple of times. The hotel's location is quite nice, with stuff within walking distance.
The hotel itself is new and in good condition. The room is spacious and well decorated. The only problem I have is with the bathroom door. I just simply don't like the dual door design.
The hotel's parking garage exit is located at a poor position. You can't make a left turn if you drive out of the garage, and have to take a long and often congested detour to go north.
All said, I'll keep coming back to this hotel, if the hotel is kept at this level, and honors platinum status like it does now.

A very good hotel, professionat staff, clean room, nice business lounge with good service. The pillows and coverings vere just great. I highly recommend this for Beijing visitors!
