Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good value The Berlin City Center HI is a good value in terms of comfort and price, and is located on the streetcar and near the city rail lines, for convenient transit. The buffet breakfast offers a wide variety, but can be crowded at times. In bad weather the walk to restaurants can be far, and food service in the lobby during evenings is limited and attended by the front desk staff, which can cause delays. Overall, nice lodging for the budget-minded. April 17, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Could have been worse First, upon arrival, learned that the garage was out of order... had to fight for street parking. The room itself was fairly appointed and clean. However, the cleaning staff kept insisting to crank the heat up to >20C.... which meant that we COOKED in that room. Upon opening the window to find some releif, noted that most other guests were already doing the same. Note to property... it's much easier for a guest to warm a room than to cool it. So off to the lobby for a drink? If the young lady would stop her facebook activities long enough to look up and realize guests were waiting, perhaps we would have had another while waiting for the room to cool as well. Oh well, at least it was only blocks from the U. There's also an interesting garlic themed restaraunt nearby. January 3, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Horrible Parking Situations After driving all the way from Munich to Berlin, we was heartbroken to find out that the parking lot was not working at all. It was annoying the fact that we was all very tired and I had to drive over an hour until 1am and even then I still did not find a spot near the hotel. The room was too hot, we put the air con down and put in cold, but no cold air came out, instead lets out hot air. There was no iron inside the room or cream in the bathroom. In diesem Jahr habe ich bereits mehr als 20 Übernachtungen im Holiday Inn Berlin City Ctr. Prenzl. Allee verbracht. Immer freundliches Personal und ein sehr guter Service, egal zu welcher Tages bzw. Nachtzeit. Auch bei Spätanreise erfolgt ein sehr schneller unkomplizierter Check - In. An der Rezeption ist immer ein sehr freundliches und kompetentes Personal vorzufinden. November 15, 2012

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beste Holiday Inn Hotel in Berlin Sehr zu empfelhen. 200m von Ringbahn Haltestelle Prenzlauer Berg. Zimmer gross und geräumig. Angenehme positive Athmosphäre. Frühstuck = sehr gut für nur 7,50€ gibt es sogar losen Tee, das kann noch nicht mal Indigo bieten, kostet da aber 15,00€ Zuvorkommender Service. Hervorzuheben Herr Hippe. Langbewährt und fachkundig. Weiter so. Ich war schon oft da und komme gerne wieder October 20, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Hervorragendes Hotel mit guter Zimmereinrichtung Business Trip. Habe 9 Nächte im Hotel übernachtet. Komfort und Ausstattung wären sogar 4,5 Sterne wert, wenn die alten Fernsehgeräte mal durch moderne Geräte ersetzt werden würden. Dies beeinflusst meine Bewertung allerdings nicht, weil ich kein TV schaue. Badezimmer und Zimmer sonst absolut neuwertig eingerichtet, super sauber und gute Matratzen im Queen Size Bed. Personal ist spitzenklasse. Weder beim Frühstück, noch am Empfang gibt es nur die kleinste Sache auszusetzen. Absolute Oberklasse und ich befinde mich regelmäßig in Hotels der 4-5 Sterne Kategorie. Frühstück ist solide und gut. Gute Käseauswahl, Wurst und Gemüse sind OK. Überraschenderweise eine gute Tee-Ecke, was man von einem 4 Sterne Hotel nicht immer gewohnt ist. Zimmerservice ebenfalls 1a. Wirklich Sehr empfehlenswert und auch für einen Pärchen-Aufenthalt zu hervorragend geeignet. October 15, 2012
