Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Road trip through Michigan We were last minute travelers on the SS Badger on a beautiful summer weekend and this was one of the only places in the area that had reasonable rooms available for the weekend. Although it was a little off the beaten path - we were pleasantly surprised at the quality and location of the hotel. The pool is amazing - spacious and indoors! Lots of kids but also lots of room. Rooms were clean and well appointed and staff very helpful and friendly. I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone traveling up the peninsula. August 14, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent facilities Comfortable mattress and pillows, immaculate room, Keurig with nice selection of coffees in room, well-appointed bathroom. Can't complain about anything. Used the fitness room, very happy with this, it was kept cool, water and towels are provided, 2 tvs for 4 machines free weights. August 12, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Not as happy as I could have been Let me start off this by saying that the staff at the front desk and the staff at the restaurant and bar were great! !!!! Now as far as the room and the management these two things did leave something to improve on. I was at this hotel for 2 weeks I had to move out of the hotel for 1 night dew to an overbooked situation. Witch I do understand. But in the 2 rooms that I was in the shower heads were not attached In the back in the wall and the faucet was loose in both of the rooms. On one day I came in for lunch and there were a crew of men there to resurface the parking lot there was no notice that this was going to be done at either the room or on the front door. Now there were 3 of us who were staying at this location and we had vehicles In the parking lot at the time and it's just lucky that we came back for lunch that day. And the last thing is I am a gold member of IHG and on my profile it asks what type of room that I prefer and I have on there that I would like a king size bed and while I was there I never got a king size bed. Now I will be heading back there soon for a 3 week stay August 7, 2014
