Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Don't waste your money here There is train directly next to hotel so if you want to sleep, I would advise relocating. I stayed here for just one night, but apparently that wasn't enough for them because they doubled charged my credit card. After numerous attempts to contact the manager (and repeatedly being told she was in a meeting and she would "give me a call back"# I am now 2 full weeks later and still no reimbursement. The staff is friendly enough, when we checked in the front desk was nice. Unfortunately, that has not always carried over through the phone. Don't bother trying to reach the manager, she is perpetually in meetings #apparently she never has a break, not even time to eat lunch or check her voicemail#. The breakfast is also pretty terrible and way over-priced. March 27, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Functional for short stay Adequate facility for a very short stay, but I wasn't impressed overall. The facility is old and needs some TLC that goes deeper than a fresh coat of paint. Shuttle service to the airport was good, but I had to wait almost an hour for the shuttle to pick me up from the airport despite calling twice as reminders. Given the airport is no more than a 5 minute car ride away from the hotel, it baffles me why this was the case March 20, 2015

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Bitter-Sweet Stayed for two nights at this hotel after "moving" from another hotel in Hoover. Thought we'd get a better experience from being closer to Birmingham. It did not turn out that way. The people at the hotel are very nice and helpful, but the service left something to be desired. The shuttle service is convenient, when it works. The drivers are friendly and helpful, but are overworked. The service does not run smoothly, and "he will be there right away" actually meant, "he has to make three runs to the airport first, so just wait." We found ourselves standing outside of a closed restaurant for over an hour waiting for the shuttle. Had dinner in the hotel restaurant the first night, and had a good experience. The staff and food were very good. Breakfast the next morning, however, was not good. We were two of the only four people in there, and instead of getting the buffet, which looked like it had been sitting out over night, we elected to get fresh food off of the menu. Paying more for the menu food, we should have gotten better food than the buffet, but the staff LITERALLY took the food straight off of the buffet and served it to us, instead of making fresh food that we ordered, so that we could avoid the food that was on the buffet. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great hotel for the price. Associates were very friendly and courteous. Shuttle service was outstanding and available 24 hours a day. Can park at the hotel and save cost of airport parking. Rooms and beds are comfortable and clean. March 6, 2015
