Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 terrible stay I stayed at this hotel 4-22-15 and never, please let me repeat that, NEVER again will I come close to this hotel. My room was terrible, TV didn't work, 3 electrical outlets didn't work, light in bathroom didn't work, I found a bug in my bed in the morning. I had dinner at the hotel....Terrible. I had chicken alfredo and I should have walked out. There was supposed to be a managers reception as I am a platinum member......I wouldn't even attempt to eat the appetizer they had....also, they only offered 1 type of beer as their "normal" drafts were out. I have been having so many problems with IHG I am thinking of changing brands. This hotel stay really put me over..... April 23, 2015

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by broken elevators This hotel is terrible I will never stay here again. Only one of the three elevators worked and it took forever to get to my room. I called IHG about the fridge that was not working that was fixed. I can't believe that this is a Hoilday Inn property, two years ago it was very nice. I was back in Birmingham two weeks later and stayed at the new Hoilday Inn at Homewood this hotel puts the airport Hoilday Inn to shame. Great job Homewood. The people at the front desk could not find the credit card authorization form that was faxed to them. Never again will I stay here so if you see this review just pick the Homewood Hoilday Inn, it is only about 15 minutes from downtown. April 20, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Air conditioning in my room I always turn the air down to the mid to low 60's when I get to my room, because I like it cold when I sleep. I turned the air down when I arrived, went to concert and came back. Room was cool, but not cold. I went to sleep or tried too. The air would come on for a few minutes and cut off, over and over. I could not sleep due to it being warm in the room. I also used my points for this one night, the girl at the front desk charged my card $54 for something, and then the manager told her that was wrong and said they were going to credit that back to my card. I still haven't seen the refund and when I call the hotel, they tell me to call back and talk to the manager. I call back and the manager isn't available. I have yet to talk to any manager at the hotel about my refund. I will not go back to this hotel again! April 14, 2015
