We used the hotel for 1 night on our way home. I didn't expect much (never do from French hotels of this grade) but we were nicely surprised.
Reception staff were pleasant & helpful. When I found my car blocked in the following morning they scoured the restaurant for the other driver and found him.
The room was slightly bigger than the average. It was clean and the bed was comfortable with a selection of pillows! Good shower. All mod cons including drinks cabinet. (unused)
All in all a pleasant experience and a restful night.
Only downside was that the aircon was ineffective and it was a warm night.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by IamJohnGalt Great location, easy to find
*Great all around property. Very clean, modern rooms. Wonderful staff. Adequate parking right behind hotel. Within walking distance of cathedral, chateau and downtown. Pastry shop 1 minute away on same side of street and another minute to the market around the corner. Also close to restaurants on same street. Nice bar but never had time to enjoy any meals in hotel.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by minniem0 Great breakfast and friendly staff
We stayed one night on a whirlwind trip to visit chateaux of the Loire Valley. Our room was comfortable. The breakfast included hot and cold items, French and American food and beverages. It was delicious! The staff at breakfast and reception were very helpful.
The location was close to many chateaux. There is a restaurant down the street and a mini-grocery around the corner. The parking behind the hotel is very convenient.
My only complaint was that the shower curtain was mildewed and needed to be cleaned or replaced.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 Average hotel
Having stayed in many holiday inns all over Europe and the USA I would rate this as one of the worst.
The wifi connection was awful, the breakfast was very average and the staff seemed indifferent.
I would not choose to stay here again unless there wa nowhere else in the area available

We spent a night at this Holiday Inn while on a road trip to friends in Mansle and 3 days camping at La Foret, La Teste-de-Buch. After spending our first night at Holiday Inn, Pessac, Bordeaux, which we had a great experience with an adjoining room for our two children, and a fab meal that evening with excellent room service, I guess it would be hard to beat.
We arrived at the Blois hotel and was impressed with the décor and building design. After settling in ravished from the camping and driving, we ordered steaks and chips to get energy for the last leg of our journey back to the UK. We couldn't have Salmon for my partner who is a fishyterian, so she opted for pasta in pesto. Her pasta was good although very simple to make, but for the children and I, the steaks were burnt and also insignificant to say the least. The chips also were on ration and I wondered if we were really in the Loire valley region of the great food nation, France.
We did send a complaint to the chef who never responded.
If you do visit this lovely Hotel and arrive hungry expecting good room service, beware.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by DNLO Extremely courteous welcome, excellent reception.
Arriving rather late we were looked after to our entire satisfaction by the most helpful receptionist. The double room was very comfortable and quiet and generally the hotel seems to maintain a very high standard. Convenient for visiting the town of Blois and the Loire Valley beyond.

Very comfortable hotel in great location to enjoy a relaxed visit to Blois. I would suggest better maintenance of air conditioning units, especially in the hot days of summer.
