Being an airport hotel we expected a lot of traffic. What we didn't expect is a large group making wholesale changes to their reservations, shuttles, and just about anything else on check in. To the credit of the desk staff they handle it extremely well and made my check in smooth. The restaurant was excellent as well as the service.
The only odd complaint was that the room hvac unit cycled on and off too often making it hard to sleep. I turned it off and the room stayed at a good sleeping temp.
Given that it was February, a high traffic weekend, and the location they kept the hotel commendably clean. Nice!

We did a park and fly and stayed here one night before our trip and left our car for the week. We like the fact that there is a Green Mill on premises so that we could stay in and eat dinner and relax before our trip without having to go out in the cold. The shuttle service is very reliable and we were at the airport in no time. On our return trip we waited maybe 15 minutes for a return shuttle. The price is very reasonable for a park and fly also. I have stayed at a few places that were the same price but inferior to the Holiday Inn Bloomington so I will definitely be back the next time I need to stay in the Cities.

Very convenient location next to Minneapolis Airport. The shuttle service was easy and fast. The hotel was comfortable and clean. Great internet. Onsite dining was an added bonus.

When I travel. I try to stay at Holiday Inn when possible. This location was a little lack luster. First, breakfast for members. this location has on site Eatery. But, they offer no room discount. Nothing.
The rooms were basic. Not big, Not small. Just big enough to squeeze the required furniture in it. The beds were hard. the pillows were small. the blankets were hard and not comfortable.
Our room overlooked the pool area. Which was fine. Until there were people. the echo and noise was impossible to block out. It was like being in a cave. Even at midnight. When people would walk thru the pool area and just talk. you could hear them.
The pool area was not very good. the towel that they put out were very small. You might be able to dry off a dog with one. Then they were like sandpaper.
The pool was very cold. and the hot tub was even worse. We turn on the hot tub and waited 35 minutes. It was still cold as ice. so we gave up and went back to our room.
I can normally justify paying more for the Holiday Inn

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by sara15187 Good spot to stay before flying out.
We just stayed for the evening before flying out on vacation. The Park and Stay feature is why we chose this Holiday Inn. The staff of the hotel was the best. The restaurant service is our only complaint. Forgot our drinks, not very attentive. Would have liked to be able to have a continental breakfast before we left but they don't have that feature. Shuttle service was great!
