Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice for the price Came in for a wedding. Staff was kind enough to call us and let us know that exit ramp was closed and we'd need to take an alternate. No problem. The only "problem" was that we had planned to go to our rooms and shower and change for the wedding and were informed that we could not, due to a sellout. Maybe a bit of compensation would have been in order? October 16, 2013

They were attentive and prompt with extra towels and breakfast. It was the first time we had breakfast delivered to our room. It was DELICIOUS!! Even though it costs a bit more, it was well worth it. DEFINTIELY recommend THIS hotel to everyone!!! October 15, 2013

A call was made to the front desk about the noise and no change noted. Decided at 6 am to get ready and leave the hotel. Not a pleasant experience... Loud noise with foul language. Our room was not made up on one of Our five days stay and this impacted negatively on our experience. Gym small and needs updating. Pool needs updating but good size. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by GREAT HOTEL! Wow, I have to say I was quite impressed with this hotel and the staff, in particular. My dad was here for a high school reunion and I decided to bring my husband and kids from NY to Ohio to see their granddad. From our arrival until we left, the staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating. When we arrived, I peaked in to see my dad at the reunion dinner in one of the conference rooms. The staff encouraged us to go in and join him and his friends for dinner as there was plenty of food. Every morning, wonderful coffee was waiting in the lobby. We had breakfast and dinner at the on-site restaurant. The food was very good (that's by NYC standards) and the price excellent. When my dad wanted a lunch menu item at dinner time, the staff brought it, no problem. Our kids ate free, which saved us a bundle. The heated pool and hot tub area are clean and relaxing; our kids had a great time. We ended up cancelling our last night there as we decided to drive home at night instead of the next day. The staff was so accommodating, allowing us to let them know by noon of that day whether we were leaving or staying, and letting us stay in our rooms until 2pm at no charge. After we had our last dinner there and were leaving, the head waitress, knowing we had to drive all night and without me asking, offered to give us coffees to go at no charge. The rooms and beds were very comfy - especially the pillows. The bathroom area was small, but sufficed. The room (about 4 doors away from the elevators on the 5th floor) was relatively quiet and very clean. Twice before checking in, reservation called to make sure that our preferences would be met. And the hotel is very close to everything. I travel a lot, and can say that overall, this was an EXCELLENT experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone! September 5, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 Nice place Stayed here 3 nights for a wedding with wife and two kids. Room was clean and comfortable. Flat screen tv was nice, but no refrigerator?? Pool was indoors, and we took full advantage of it. Ate breakfast in hotel all three days...not cheap, but food was good. Only downside was domestic dispute at midnight in room next to ours, but when I called the desk, they sent someone up to calm things down. Took them about 10 minutes, but things were quiet after that. I would stay here again, although I'm not sure I'll ever need a room in Youngstown again! August 28, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 6 days of comfort & great service Even though the planned event took place at the Boardman location, my husband & I chose to stay there entire duration of our vacation. The location proved to be perfect for visiting friends and family in the surrounding Youngstown area. We took advantage of the very popular complimentary morning coffee often arriving to an empty pots that were refilled the instant I mentioned it to the front desk staff. I particularly appreciated the speedy breakfast service and the coffee pot left on the table for multiple refills. The food provided at the event was delicious ands there was plenty of it! Can not comment on the food and beverage as we did not use the resturant at the hotel, however it is nice that is is there if we wanted too. We attend a function that is at a banquet hall a couple parking lots over from the hotel, so the location is fantatic because we can walk to it. Also within walking distance to a few resturants and stores if we should need something. Our intent will be to stay at this Holiday Inn next year too... June 6, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very comfortable From check-in to check-out, the friendly staff capped off a nice weekend for us. Any questions we had were answered quickly and knowledgeably by the front desk staff. The housekeepers were very accommodating of our schedule, willing to wait "an hour" and then "15 more minutes" to make up our room. The food in the restaurant was good, served hot, and the wait staff very friendly, despite the harried conditions of serving on Mother's Day. We had a handicapped-accessible room which was comfortable. I had only two complaints about it: first, the bed was too high off the floor for me to get easily into, and second, though there were plenty of grab bars in the bathtub, a seat would have been better for those with poor balance issues. Though we didn't try the business center or the indoor pool, it was nice to know they were available. We had originally reserved the room for two nights, but decided we wanted to stay a third. That didn't seem to pose a problem for the staff. And the comment that topped them all was from a housekeeper: "I love your dress, such a pretty color!" May 20, 2013
