Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by below normal standards We stay here quiet a lot as a break for a night of relaxation(we work in blackpool hospitality industry) usually spot on ..this time on check in toilet seat was towels for pool reception had to get room towels instead..sauna out of order two explanation...we tried ringing room service about 10pm no one answered eventually when someone did we were told 40mins for a salad and cheese board..both orders not to usual advocado in salad as discribed and as had before..cheese board tiny compared to previous visits... then next morning we paid cash for room service but we also charged on credit card...took 5 days to refund double charge despite several phone calls ..breakfast in the morning empty juices no glasses cold or over cooked ..fruit and yogurts empty...this was most definatley our worst ever stay November 24, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed... couldn't sleep. I have stayed in and enjoyed my stay at many Holiday Inns over the years. This Hotel had very nice staff, but the room we were put in was very poor and left my hugely disappointed. All night there was a loud humming noise that stopped us sleeping. I had a sporting event the next day and ended up competing with around 2 hours sleep. November 11, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great location The Bolton Holiday Inn is a great location to the city and the surrounding areas.Overall i found my stay comfortable and the staff very welcoming.The restaurant and bar are very good with the bar menu being particularity tasty . The only criticism i had was being on the 4th floor i had the roar of the ventilation system late at night which did make it hard to fall asleep quickly .Other than that i had a great stay.
