Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worst hotel experiences we've ever had. We came to town for a wedding that began at 5:30 PM and were told the room was not going to be ready until 6 PM. Later I asked the bridal party if they had been told the rooms would not be ready until six and they said that was not the fact.we went back to the location of the wedding to get ready and went back afterwards to check into the hotel and were given a room that had food containers, garbage and beer bottles sitting outside the front door. My husband went to the front desk and we were given another room and we found the same situation with leftover food and trash outside the door. The room smelled like the sweaty football players who had been staying at the hotel prior to our check-in. The bed was horribly uncomfortable. We stayed till about 1 o'clock in the morning and couldn't sleep. So we got up and drove back to Louisville at 2 o'clock in the morning. I did give a rating of fair as to the price of the hotel because it was such a horrible experience the hotel manager comped our room. Will never stay at another holiday inn ever. November 18, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Higher cost for less services. I am always disappointed when there is no complimentary breakfast! I know this was a convention site hotel but still should offer free breakfast for the increased room rates. Also was just our (traveling with my 88 year old mother) luck to be put in a room on 4 floor where they were changing out the mattresses which made us wonder why. I told the desk that I was traveling with my elderly mother and they should have been more understanding. The girl manning the front desk was in a t-shirt with with some kind of writing on it and jeans. Just not what I would expect from Holiday Inn. November 18, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Staff, worn room would return. Staff made up for everything the room wasn't. Staff at check in, in the lobby, at the restaurant, and at checkout were wonderful! Maybe we had a room that hadn't been renovated yet. I did visit another room and it didn't appear to be as worn as ours. November 17, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Below Average for Business Guest Although the hotel was undergoing renovations what disappointed me most was the uncleanliness of the guest rooms and poor quality of bed and other amenities. Staff were very friendly and accommodating but couldn't do much to remedy the situation. That said, willing to give this hotel a second chance once all the renovations are complete and only if they act on the aforementioned problems. November 11, 2014

One person leaves and they replace them with another employee just as friendly and helpful. The newest GM continues to maintain the highest standards as the previous one. You guys do a wonderful job!
