Due to the renovations going on, the pool and exercise room are still out of service. Also they are renovating some rooms so there was construction noise during the day. Renovations are affecting the restaurant as well. Once these are complete, not a bad place to stay. October 1, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Under construction In town for a convention being held at Convention Center. We booked a suite and booked early. A few weeks after we booked, received a call that they had overbooked and wanted to know if we had originally booked a suite. Told them Yes...they had every opportunity to tell us that the floor they were putting us on was under construction...never did they tell us that we would be winding our way to our room through toilets, trash and construction. It was horrible! Staff was not friendly and seemed to think that the impact of the construction upon guest was funny. We however did not. Have to say that this was the worst place we have stayed during the many years of coming to convention. September 26, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Top notch all the way this property is currently undergoing renovation....but don't let that stop you from enjoying a beautiful location, premium services and a professional and friendly staff. We were treated like royalty here and will put it on our list of hotels to include in all our travels south. It is the atrium design with rooms opening out to a bright central core with plants and a waterfall enhancing the view. Our room was very quiet despite the ongoing work. Ask for a room overlooking the golf course in the back and enjoy a green scene and a very quiet night. Excellent on all levels. Can't wait to see it all completed. September 24, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Stay Away We loved this Holiday Inn until this visit. When we arrived, we found out that it is under construction. The pool is closed. There is enough noise to wake the dead and the dead in this hotel wake up early because jack hammering started at 9:15 this morning. They closed off the handicapped entrance and I park in handicapped but they didn't have temporary handicapped parking, so we had to travel all the way around the building to enter. When I asked to speak with the Manager, no one arrived for five minutes. I went to my room. We checked out a night early. No one ever contacted me. As a result, I cut up my Gold Elite card and handed it to the desk clerk when we checked out and canceled two upcoming visits to Holiday Inns in Branson. If the company has such poor regard for their guests, I will take my business elsewhere. Bye Bye Holiday Inn. We are staying across the street and it is lovely and cheaper. September 20, 2014

Room was very good, comfortable, clean and modern. However, one dinner experience was poor. Wait staff and/or kitchen staff was poor or inadequately trained. Service very slow and disorganized. Party of eight was split between two waitresses (really?) and with drink and food orders essentially served one at a time over a period of two hours. Appears some of our orders were poached by other wait staff serving other parties. No apparent restaurant management. Experience left a bad taste and kept us away from further hotel restaurant visits for the remainder of our stay. September 6, 2014

No problems in anyway, no attitudes, very attentive if I was at the bar, check in/check out, or even to just get a cup of coffee. That is something you do not experience alot of the time. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by HI in Bowling Green Hotel room was very nice although a refrigerator would have been a good addition. Pool was not open. Restaurant service was HORRIBLE. Wait staff were not trained and clueless - starting wit drink orders - they had no idea what beers were available when asked - a second wait staff person came over and didn't know either - she went to find out and came back with no offerings! Ordering meals was chaos. The wait staff knew nothing about the offerings. Four of the six in our party waited for food for 1.5 hours! When food did arrive all the orders were really goofed up (not little things). Wrong entrees, sides, etc. Wait staff made dumb comments. Manager didn't seem too interested in resolving the situation although she did remove the dinners from our bill after some "encouragement" from us. Friends told us breakfast was just as bad. We stayed four days and never ate again at the hotel. September 3, 2014

Great accommodations and the staff was a great help in cancelling reservations at our next destination. I am use to a refrigerator in the hotels we have stayed in before so that was something I was expecting. I didn't check in advance for complimentary breakfast and other amenities as we were just grateful to get accommodations in Bowling Green for the 2014 Corvette Caravan Anniversary. September 2, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great staff Our stay was very pleasant and the staff was very helpful, even when my wife had to go to the hospital at 11 pm. They told us how to get to the ER and then printed out directions for us and then helped with getting her into the car. And then was ready to assist when we returned at 1 am. The desk and the manager went way beyond what I would have expected. Thank You very much. August 27, 2014
