Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Pool not available The only reason I chose this hotel for the weekend was because it had an indoor pool so I could take my son swimming. Well, when we got there we found out that the pool was closed. This was not mentioned to us when we checked in, we had to find out for ourselves. And while a pool at a nearby hotel was made available for our use, we didn't feel like schlepping ourselves and all our swim stuff across the parking lot in a thunderstorm to go swimming. A disclaimer should be put on this hotel's website that the pool is closed for the foreseeable future. August 21, 2014

JJ and Ashland did a wonderful job booking all of our guest and taking care of the details. They provided a shuttle to the venue and breakfast the next morning. Very comfortable! Friendly staff! I highly recommend this hotel when in Bowling Green, Kentucky August 20, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable rooms just alot of remodeling going on We were in Bowling Green for a wedding, and there was a block of rooms reserved for us...We had a great time after the wedding we all went back to the hotel and enjoyed the Bar with nite time snacks! Couldn't really relax in the room when we arrived because of the noise from their remodeling other than that it was a great stay! August 20, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by JJT Everything was ok. The rooms were dated and darker than I like. The bed was well worn with a hump in the middle. The TV channel guide was not accurate at all. I felt safe and secure on the property. This was my third time staying at this location. The staff was friendly and helpful. There is construction on the property. August 11, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Bad Bad Bad!!!!!!!!!!! This place is a mess. They are remodeling and should shut this dump down until they are finished. The elevators didn't work, our safety latch on our door locked us out of our room and they had to break in so we could get our stuff.We moved to another room but should have checked out. We stayed because we wanted to play golf next door the next morning and come back to shower before checkout time (12:00) then continue our trip. Guess what, we get a note under our door the next morning saying they were shutting the water off because of the remodeling.You don't want to hear about the breakfast. August 8, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Overall Ambiance for Lobby and Meeting I don’t see that you’ll do anything at all about this but I feel compelled to address this situation further. I am surprised that a reputable brand name like Holiday Inn would think so little of a large group stay that they would subject them to noise, confusion and disruption of renovation during a weekend stay for an annual family reunion. We had 130 family members coming, some from around the country, to reunite. We have done so for over 70 years. The accommodations have always been an added value to an already memorable and enjoyable event. Somehow the noise and confusion of this year’s accommodations somewhat dampened the occasion and that’s unfortunate. What’s sad about the disruptive occurrence is that our family origin is in Kentucky. We've had reunions in Kentucky before and will continue to do so. Here’s hoping it will not be in your location if I have any to say in the matter. July 31, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by was not told of work being done when I booked room We were looking forward to a quiet stay with 2 kids looking forward to the swimming pool. Instead , upon check in we were told the pool was closed, bar was closed, and construction noise was going on all the time. If we were told this we would have stayed somewhere else. Kids were upset they did not get to swim. Stayed there 3 years in a row, but this was our last. July 23, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Family Reunion Overall experience was pleasant considering the construction. Accommodations were made for the absence of the swimming pool and exercise facilities through arrangements with the local "gym" and neighboring hotel. I pointed out items that needed addressing and the hotel staff responded by addressing the housekeeping items. The beds were comfortable, the linens, towels and wash clothes were soft. The breakfast buffet, omelets and waffles were good. I am pleased with our stay and with the exception of the concurrent remodeling, expect that the hotel will return to service and experience levels previously submitted. Thanks goes to the management and staff for being responsive to our feedback. They managed hosting our reunion, the corvette homecoming, and the baseball team along with juggling the concurrent remodeling. I'll visit this hotel again if I'm in the area. July 21, 2014

We gathered for a family reunion, and the breakfast was excellent, the rooms great and the golf course next to the hotel was a bonus. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Getting better? I stayed for only one night while in town to take in a baseball game. Unfortunately, there was a lot of construction/remodeling going one at the time, so I really cannot comment on the lobby/restaurant/lounge areas. However the hotel seems very clean and well kept. I'll return again next year and see how things are then. I would have no problem recommending this hotel to anyone. In spite of the work going on, the place looked great. Nice spacious and clean room. That is all I really needed for a night anyway. July 9, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great customer service We had only stayed in Holiday Inn Express before this stay. I would prefer the Express to the full service hotel. everything was surface clean and fine. I think it could have used a deep cleaning by the pool. Room was large and comfortable for 2 adults and 2 kids. We stayed 2 days and i don't think the floor was vacuumed the first day and we had to request towels. But the staff handled all problems promptly and really were not any issues. i would recommend this hotel-but would prefer a holiday inn express. thanks July 8, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not Good We started by entering a room that smelled like paint or wall paper paste. Then while in the bathroom we found wet dirty wash cloths atop the shower curtain rod. The thermostat did not work well, it was set at 65 but it was much warmer in the room. The bed was concave. The pool was cloudy. It was not a pleasant stay. July 2, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Bad place for sports teams Stayed there for 4 nights during a big softball tournament. Your info said that you had a guest laundry facility. On night 3 we went to us the laundry to wash uniforms. The room was closed with a sign that said "Out of Order". When we inquired at the front desk we were told that he dryer was not heating. That is when we discovered that in a hotel of over 200 rooms, you have only 1 washer and 1 dryer for guest use. We were told it would be fixed the next day so we went to a local laundry facility to do our uniforms. The next evening we we went back the faculty was still closed. We inquired again and once again got an apology and that it would be fixed tomorrow. We went back to the laundromat to once again of our uniforms. I am a Priority Club Gold member and although we did get an apology each time there was no attempt to make up for the inconvenience of leaving our hotel and sitting in a laundromat two nights. Comp breakfast tickets, room discount or even club points would have shown you cared about our situation. We are coming back to Bowling Green in a week and a half for another tournament, but we will not be staying there. You hotel is nice, but just need to do a little above and beyond for your guest.
