We stayed that the Allentown Holiday Inn for a family wedding. We were a large group and the hotel was very accommodating. The front desk was very helpful and was more than will to help us with any request. The hotel has a S'more night which the kids loved. The weather was hot so the pool was very welcoming for young and old alike. We had a situation where we needed to retain one of the rooms for an extra day and they allowed us to do that at the same group rate.

The Room Cleanliness was good when I walked in, upon check in but after the first night, room service came in to clean the room, take out the garbage, or make the bed.
I was in and out of the room for a wedding but still, no one came and cleaned the room.

The first room we were given was dirty, about an inch of dirt along one wall. There was no chair or sofa in room although it appeared there had been. The staff did move us to another room. Noise level was rather high. One desk staff was helpful other staff ignored our concerns.

The hotel always has friendly and courteous staff.
The restaurant and bar staff is also friendly and courteous.

This recent hotel stay was very frustrating for me. As a business traveler with work that needs to be done while traveling I think the hotel needs to notify its customers when they do not have internet services available. I would have gone somewhere else. The hotel knew that they were changing providers the night of my stay and knew there was an issue, but I was not informed. I spent time trying to connect to get work done, and was told they were switching over and it wouldn't be much longer. I tried several times over the evening with work deadlines and it never came on. I told the front desk in the morning and they said sorry, but the internet providers started a back and forth and they didn't know which one they were going with at that time. That is not acceptable, and there was no compensation offered for my trouble. I travel all the time for work. I never complain about anything. This was as frustrated as I have ever been about a service related issue at a hotel, restaurant, car rental, or any service I use while traveling. Sorry, but I will be at the hotel up the street going forward. Sorry about that, but this IHG hotel just lost a valued customer.
