Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Avoid Extremely disappointed, I can understand the hotel is under refurbishment but that doesn't excuse the poor standards. The bathroom design is awful, I can forgive the bathroom being tiny however as soon as you turned on the shower the water would leak through the shower door on to the bathroom floor, making it completely unsable - very poorly designed Room was noisey, bed was uncomfortable, curtains didn't close all the way through so expect to be kept up! Not much more to say really... February 6, 2016

I also made use of the 50% reduction on the food at Stock Burger this week which was excellent. I plan to stay at the hotel for a number of months and hope that the quality of service continues at the excellent standard. February 5, 2016

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by A pleasant stay at Brighton! Despite atrocious weather we enjoyed our three days at the Holiday Inn - so well placed for our requirements. Unfortunately, the weather meant that the workmen employed to complete the ground floor exterior decking area were delayed. Their presence in the bar area in working clothes was a distraction in my view - should have had an area allotted to them. Once the area is completed, taxis will be able to drop off properly and all will be normal! This will be beneficial to guests and the hotel management. So apart from the temporary hiccup, all is well with the Seafront Holiday Inn, Brighton. February 2, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by An excellent hotel to stay at. Great rooms and staff Stayed at the H.I. at Brighton and well impressed with the service received. I was there to celebrate my 65th birthday with my wife and friends and thoroughly enjoyed the stay in an 'Executive Suite'. The staff were excellent and the hotel very clean. Some renovations and revamps going on but did not interfere with our stay very much. The bar lounge area is not the best environment to enjoy a meal. Miss the dining room experience. The 'Gourmet Burger' bar had the environment but not the dining room menu's. Fine for Burger type meals but we wanted restaurant type meals, so did not eat there. The staff however were excellent and good service. Have stayed here before and the food is usually very good. Especially outstanding was Shaun Pratt at reception, who was very helpful and friendly with a good sense of humour. I will be back again and can recommend this hotel as being one of the nicest we have stayed at. February 1, 2016
