This was a wonderful place to stay...I had missed my flight back to France and the man at the Easyjet desk recommended this hotel...the person at the desk (I didn't get her name but it was about 5 pm on Sun. April 28)...was so understanding and kind...the room she gave me was terrific...all great amenities...then, when I checked out the next day, I had bought too many things and couldn't fit them in my suitcase and she gave me a Holiday Inn duffel bag which solved the problem perfectly...also, the woman who served me in the restaurant the next morning for breakfast was terrific...I commented on a bush out side, not knowing what it was but wishing I could find one like it and she asked if I would like a cutting...I was thrilled!
It is now with me in France and growing! Very kind of her...Also very helpful was the gentlemen at the Sun nite dinner time...I can't recommend this hotel highly enough...C. Byrne

The Holiday Inn in Bristol is not only adecuate located, it also provides a good price/value. Kids have the possiblity of a child menu (which was free!). The rooms are spacious, the food is good and the staff is very friendly.
Would always stay there again!

Unfortunately only got to stay one night, very impressed with what we saw, beds comfortable, breakfast good nice selection. Will definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Stayed at this Holiday inn due to proximity to Bristol Airport.
I was picked up from the Airport by the hotel Shuttle service and brought back the next morning.
All staff very friendly, welcoming and helpful.
Hotel is situated in the countryside with no real food options apart from the in house restaurant. Possibly as a result of not having any competition, the food was not of a great standard.
I ordered a small risotto as a starter and a pasta dish as the main course. The risotto was overcooked with the rice very soft and ready to turn to mush, with the only crunch coming from the virtually raw onion in it. (quite a feat to overcook the rice and undercook the onion at the same time). Was meant to be a chorizo risotto, but i struggled to find much in the way of chorizo
The pasta for the main course was undercooked and served with pesto and a "tomato based" sauce which had not been sweetened and hence was very bitter. Dish served up with what looked and tasted supsiciously like grated cheddar rather than the customary parmesan.
Would recommend the hotel for friednly welcoming staff, but steer clear of the food

We had a wedding nearby and as we were travelling down for it, they kindly allowed us to check in early so we had time to get ready for the big day.

We used the Holiday in at Bristol Airport to save time in driving to the airport before going on holiday the next day. Staff were friendly and helpful and it was a very quick to check in. We ordered food from the bar and this arrived quick. I asked about booking a room if our flight was delayed coming back and we were told about the cancellation policy so we asked for a card and I rang from the airport and we were booked in and arrived just before midnight and the room was very warm and comfy. We had a lovelly nights sleep with no hurry to come home. Breakfast was good very hot and plenty of choice and as we paid by credit card we just went back to the room collect our things handed the room key over and left for home.

My experience of the holiday inn in Birmingham airport where I stayed for 3 nights was excellent. My room had everything I required and was really comfortable. I ate in the hotel and the food was exceptional. The Staff were very friendly and helpful.
This is one hotel I'll stay in again.
