Not enough choices in the restaurant and a less than quality breakfast. The heating in the room wasn't working well and the Bar area was cold. Talking of staff, reception staff didn't engage very well with public. The only saving grace for this hotel was the free parking.
I would suggest that anyone staying here should consider not paying the automatically added 12% service charge as half goes direct to the hotel then managers and last of all if lucky the staff who directly look after you. Instead pay a gratuity direct to staff members. We will not be back.

My son has special needs so is very fussy with his eating. This posed no problem to the restaurant staff who were so helpful and kind. Something I very much appreciate. We have stayed at this hotel once before and would have no hesitation in staying there again or indeed recommending it.
I made a point of showing my appreciation by thanking them at the reception desk

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel, the staff were very pleasant, the food in the bar was good and the bedroom was relatively modern, though I did think that the room rate was a little over priced.
My previous two hotels were suites at the InterContinental in Kuala Lumpor and the InterContinental in Singapore and the room rate for both of these hotels was less than staying at The Holiday Inn Bristol Filton.

Very satisfactory. Stayed here a few times before and knew what to expect. Minor problem with room being cold in early hours of the morning.
