This was our first stay, from booking in to checking out we had no problem. The service was great, rooms were excellent, clean and well equipped. We were able to get a meal at 1:00am which was lovely. There was plenty of variety for breakfast choice and again the service was very good. Our party of 4 were very impressed in all aspects and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others.

Hotel staff were very good from initial check-in to final check-out. The room was well appointed, clean & welcoming and although we did not use the restaurant the bar snack menu was excellent value, if the drinks a little pricey.
This is a great hotel on the outskirts of Bristol near to the M4/M5 corridor. 15 mins sees you in the centre of Bristol and 30mins to the centre of Cardiff.

Well positioned for easy access from the motorway. Very happy with the room and facilities. Just left a little disappointed as an additional payment had been put on my bill. When I queried this, apparently somebody had charged the purchase of a swimming costume to my room number.
I think this is an internal problem as surely all purchases should be signed for and then verified. Hopefully it is a problem that Holiday Inn Filton will rectify.

Room comfortable, restaurant fine, good service but a little overpriced. Pool a nice way to relax after a long drive, but changing rooms almost impossibly tiny, wouldn'it like to change in them with more than three other bodies.
Staff polite and helpful, but refills at breakfast VERY slow, we had to wait a long time for milk for cereal.....at breakfast time?
However, overall we had a good two night stay and would consider coming here again on long trips south.

The staff are great and nothing is too much trouble. Even though Pasta is off the new menu the Chef made the gluten free pasta for my daughter as she had enjoyed it so much on our previous visit.
We have found every member of staff to be pleasant and helpful. The swimming pool gym and Sauna are fabulous and we really enjoyed our evening and early morning swims.
We recommend the Holiday Inn at Filton with out hesitation.

We enjoyed our stay at Holiday Inn Bristol Filton.
The room was very clean and comfortable and a very good size.
We found all the bar staff and restaurant staff to be friendly and
If you dont want to use your car to go into the city centre, you can walk to the big Sainsburys about 10mins walk and catch the bus.
It was £4.00 return.
We also walked to Clifton Village and Suspension Bridge from the City Centre. It was a nice walk and worth a visit.
Cobot Tower is also worth going up.

Very impressed, great value. Didn't book breakfast as wanted a lie in so we went to Cripps Causeway for brunch. Glass of NZ sauvignon at £9.55 was a bit of a shocker but that said everything else was great. Staff were very friendly, rooms clean and choice of pillows was an excellent touch. Would return and recommend. Cheaper to stay here and get a taxi into town where overnight parking is very expensive.

Very happy with our 2 night stay, staff was very helpful, food was amazing ( in the bar area ) and the room was clean and very homely. Location close to train station.
The only bad thing I can say is the breakfast on the Sunday. We waited at least 15 minutes to get seated for a table and the breakfast food wasnt hot ! The breakfast staff could not keep up with the customers waiting, slow at clearing tables ect...
Other than that a good stay.

As a regular guest on business I rarely find the opportunity to give feed back but for some considerable time this hotel has delivered very good service, accommodation and food. Sampans restraurant food never disappoints, though its service sometimes suffers slightly when at capacity.

The hotel is well located and has very good facilities. The staff are very friendly and the rooms clean and comfortable. The only thing missing, was free Wi-fi which so many other hotel chains are now offering. If it had had the latter it would have had 5 stars for value.

Yet again another stay where returning customers at platinum status are no more thought of than anbody else, no upgrade and no complimentary gifts despite the priority club no. clearly indicated on the booking. When feedback was requested at check-out an apology was given and a promise of some additional points to compensate. Yet again an empty promise as my points were processed today.
Priority................. I don't think so.

Myself and 3 friends stayed at the Holiday Inn Bristol Filton for 1 night when we were going to Badminton Horse Trials.
We were very impressed with the quality of the rooms, service, and cleanliness. We ate at the Asian Restaurant which was lovely. Would definitely stay there again and recommend it to family and friends,

I stayed for one night with my Husband and 7 year old son as we plan to move to Bristol and wanted to explore the city. What I didn't bank on was not being able to get my son out of the Hotel! He had such a marvellous time there and was treated so well by all the staff; every one spoke directly to him like a proper 'customer' and he felt very grown up indeed. He loved the pool and the grounds too. We would definitely stay again, perhaps for longer next time to give my husband the chance to fish in your lake! It was lovely see rabbits hopping around the grounds and we were lucky enough to see a heron fishing for his supper too.
We all enjoyed the food; the pancake machine at breakfast was a big hit with all of us: what fun!
Thanks to all for a lovely refreshing break.

I know this hotel well after numerous visits, it has lost some of its service and standards, cutlery in main restaurant dirty, glasses not correctly polished and service not as attentive with a reduced menu. I still like this hotel but customers appear to be taken for granted. Asian restaurant had better service with cheerful staff.
Room was comfortable but when raining the metal window sill beats like a drum.

We used Priority rewards points for our two night stay (no breakfast) due to visiting our son who lives in Bristol. Superior room excellent, no complaints whatsoever (much more than a standard room, which we used 2 weeks earlier). On reception, at 1400 hours, we were met with a rather 'frosty' female (Alexanda?) who I asked what we should do with the parking barrier ticket (never having one before). I was told 'you have folded it, it will not now possibly work', she was in other conversation with her 'not conversation friendly' (as the only one on the desk at the time). As regular users of the Holiday Inn at Filton she appeared to be offended that we had turned up and was very off hand - we have never had such a reception in the past and have stayed there possibly 10 or more times, even from those whose language was not English as a first language. As said we cannot fault the room nor the leisure facilities.

Given the hotel's location next to busy roads, I was delighted to find that I had a really quiet room overlooking the gardens and fountain. The room was very clean and comfortable and I was able to relax after the very busy event I was attending each day. I would recommend this hotel. The only slight negative is that internet access isn't free - I had accidentally left my purse on the roof of my car at the petrol station (!) so didn't have any credit cards to enable room charges. Other than that - I will stay again for next year's event.

A relaxing weekend break. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating. The rooms location above the lake was excellent. The menu, though a little limited was adequate for a weekend break. The location, within easy reach of the M4/M5/M32 is ideal for visitors wishing to go into Bristol and all points N-S -E -West.
The Health Club facilities were very good.

Our second Holiday Inn experience and we had a god time in Bristol but this chain have the hardest beds I have ever encountered. Such that we both got up with back ache in the morning and as we were checking out the guest in front said the same thing to the receptionist. Premier Inns have much bigger and more comfortable beds.
Resturant service good but why was the table on the first night sitting in a pool of food debris from Breakfast and not neccsarily from that mornings breakfast either!!
On arrival we went to the coffee lounge for a quick drink and the service charge was charged to the bill- without reference to us. I did not appreciate this and were not caught again, like this.
Reception staff had little idea about where the bus stops were when my wife sought direction and she ended up walking a long way to get a bus. Local knowledge like this is useful, especially when the hotel is some distance from the centre of Bristol or anywhere of significance

We have been visiting Filton holiday inn hotel for over 12 years on a annual basis sometimes more. As a family we enjoy the grounds in good weather and the swimming pool at all times. The hotel is spacious aesthically pleasing to the eye internally. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and service always good and cheerful

We have stayed in this hotel many many times before and overall we always have a good time. on this visit the service was very good the breakfast was very good and staff helpfull as always, on the only negative point as per are last time we stayed the room air/con heating is of a poor standard on entering the room the heat hit you no air in room, you can only open window 6 inches, the hotel sent up a small fan, i mean a small fan and it only worked on 1 speed at least they tried , the a/c & heating fan did not really work, kicked in after 10 min but hardly blew any air out it is something holiday inn must resolve as it was not comfortable in the room.

We would like to thank Luke for serving our coffee promptly and fetching a highchair for us. He was very helpful. Jess at the reception remembered our names and made us feel very welcome. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed. It was great with the children. The pool was good fun too. We'll be back soon.
