Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by What a great hotel!! My daughter and I stayed here for one night when she was running in the UK inter counties cross country championships. We chose this hotel because it appeared good value and was close to the event. I thought it would be nice if she could swim as a relaxation the night before the race. The hotel and the food were fantastic. The only down side was the family in the pool as the parents didn't ask their children not to annoy other guests at all but this was no fault of the hotel. We will definitely use this hotel anytime we need to stay in this area. Food was fabulous and even better as it was free for under 13s!! Thank you to the staff for a great stay! March 15, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good room and great service A good experience. We did have some issues with the room on arrival but this was more down to the booking agent than the hotel. They couldn't have been more helpful in sorting all the problems for us. The room was of a high quality and we liked the fact there was loads of storage space. There seemed to be an excellent pool but unfortunately we ran out of time to use it. The restaurant was good quality if a little pricey, but this was helped by the children eating for free. Breakfast was excellent, better quality food than competitors and enjoyed by us all. March 14, 2013

Staff sorted everything and organised most convenient time slot (even in the middle of school holidays). Extremely helpful and resulted in a great day out for us all. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I loathe trip advisor but love this hotel Having found this hotel last month for the first time, do not think that this is just another Holiday Inn, the staff are very welcoming from the time you check in to checking out. The bar staff make you feel very welcome and the 3 times I have stayed here the buzz is great, they leave you alone to relax but check that you have all you need. On my last stay I was lucky enough to get back of house the kitchens are spotless, the Chef and his team create great food, and you can see they care as well. I havent been in the gym or spa area yet, but I would assume that they will treat you in the same way. Making your stay special. One slight negative would be the WIFI not reaching the rooms so you have to work in the bar and this could be a downside. But I will definatley stay here again and again! February 21, 2013

The hotel, sadly, does not have rooms with two double beds ( which others in the group do ) A very uncomfortable Sofa bed was the only alternative. January 4, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Poor Reception Stayed many times under this and previous ownership ,This time no response to platinum card -- so why bother . .The smallest room I have had in 20 years of using hotel ..I stay several times a month in the area and have used other Holiday Inns ,Hilton and Premier Inns . Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 Holiday Inn Bromsgrove We stayed at this hotel on the 21.12.12 till 23.12.12 a party of three my self my wife and my seven year old daughter , As soon as you walk into the lobby you get the wow factor ,my daughter loved the Christmas decorations and the real fire places they have dotted around the lobby and bar .The staff are very polite and help full ,as this is a very large hotel with quite a few rooms it can be a little difficult to find your room at first but as soon as you do you will be pleasantly surprised nice large clean room with all that you need for a short stay . Now the only down side to this hotel its not within walking distance of any where unlike the holiday inn solihull and the bar menu and restaurant menu were a little over the top for myself and my daughter and she didn't like any of the choices on the children s menu don't get me wrong the food looks great if you are into fine dinning but after a long journey all you want is something filling and quick .So my opinion great hotel but could do with a wider choice of food on the menu . Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Value For Monay Because we booked and paid for our room in advance (Suite) we got a great deal. It was a shame that this was not offered to us when we where making our Christmas Booking. I came across it myself and changed our booking. When we arrived well after 2pm we got to the room we had been given only to find that it had not been cleaned. When I went to reception to have it sorted, it was not a problem, they gave me another room without question. You can not fault the service. We where stopping as we where booked in for a Christmas Party which was excellent, although the singer was not as billed. You could not fault the service the meal itself or the disco. Breakfast wonderful plenty of variety, upon check in receptionsit very polite and knowledgable. Hotel very modern and the price was excellent well worth the money my only negative was the pool for children they couldnt swim after 7pm or 12 mid day on the sunday unlike other holiday inns aprt from that wonderful will come again December 14, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by comfortable room and caring considerate staff Our second stay at Bromsgrove and it was equally as good as the first. The hotel is immaculately clean, warm and welcoming. Facilities are very good, the staff willing to help and the dining room a pleasure to eat in. Due to illness we had to change our booking which was done courteously by the booking staff with no problem and every care and consideration taken. We can highly reccommend this Holiday Inn Hotel and will definitely visit again. November 25, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Attentive staff - Good service Recently had my Nans 80th Birthday party at the Holiday Inn where everyone had a really good night - food was good - DJ very good- Unfortunately my Nan was unwell towards the end of the evening (Too much excitement!) and have to say the staff were excellent and Paramedics/ambulance arrived promptly - Happy to say after a thorough check up at the hospital she was sent home - I believe a good time was had by all Thank you Holiday Inn November 18, 2012

Food superb, organisation superb. The day was made very special. We had several rooms booked and all rooms were clean and tidy, decor and finishings were excellent. Facilities looked great, pity we never had time to use them. Would not hesitate in recommending this Hotel to anyone. Well done Holiday Inn, Bromsgrove. November 12, 2012

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Bargain luxury This is a great hotel, was so surprised when we got there. Booked it as a last minute short break. Lovely hotel. Been there twice and will be staying again next time we fancy a short relaxing get away. First time we stayed, book in was quick and easy, got to the room, was nice and clean and liked the selection of pillow types you could have, nice touch. The air conditioning didn't work in our room so a quick call to reception and they moved us to an even nicer room to suit our needs straight away. Room service was quick and helpful, the food is lovely and the spa facilities are perfect, what more can I say! Second stay was just as great, in a lovely room on the end of a block so couldn't ask for more. Will be returning for sure. Well done Holiday inn!! October 11, 2012
