Room was quite large-used it for an event a lingerie party with snacks and it fit 12 woman comfortably sitting in the king corner suite i person stayed the night in the room bed could easily fit two adults comfortably. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great stay This hotel was the designated hotel for a conference that I attended in Boston. Overall, I was very pleased with the property and the services that I received. My only problem was the toilet in my room clogged several times while I was there. However, the problem was always fixed immediately when brought to the staff's attention. I would definitely recommend the hotel and I would definitely consider staying here if I return to the Boston area. November 14, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The Staff Makes This a 10 Location Hugh at the front desk gave me information about Priority Club account. Then gave me an invitation for gratuitous food and drinks with the Manager. Later I was given a regular bottle of water by the front desk rather than have to use the sparkling water in the refrigerator or tap water, which was nice and exceeded my expectations. This isn't the most physically attractive location and entrance lobby I've seen, but the staff made this a 10 experience and location. I also like the high-end shops available at nearby Legacy Place. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very adequate, clean hotel Stayed one night to be near a meeting. Very convenient location across from a large new outdoor shopping center with lots of good dining options. Hotel and rooms are clean, very 60's look and feel though it's been updated enough to get by. Layout is large with breezeways and doors all over the place, can be a long walk to a room from the lobby, but never more than one flight of stairs. Parking lot seemed dark. Room has several lamps, and like many hotels, with all of them on, it's still not brightly lit. Heater/AC is the old through the wall type with the thermostat in the unit. It worked fine, but as is the norm for those, it's a little noisy and the temperature swings a bit. But it worked fine. Good price compared to the area and, again, clean and a good night's sleep on a firm mattress. November 7, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by great location to MIT campus When I called to reserve, I was told that my credit card would NOT be debited but only needed to reserve room, but when I arrived I was told that my card would be debited eventhough I wanted to pay cash. I was told I could pay cash but still, my card would be debited and returned to my account days later. Because my card was locked up before due to this bait and switch deal, I paid with my credit card, kept my cash to enjoy other sites in boston with my son who is a grad student at MIT. Other than that, the hotel is a great location across from the Whole foods market and other areas close to MIT campus. the bed was comfortable and the servers at the breakfast were so nice. Great drivers and they all were very knowledgeable of the area. The only problem I encountered was the TV reception. I ask about it and the reply was we know and we have reported it several times, so this led to be believe no one was doing anything about it. I would watch something and it would lose connection. This place has terrible internet access, staff who really don't care, will remind you of a highway motel from a movie, says they have a shuttle to the airport, they are lying, 22 miles from the city, so don't stay here if you want access to the city, extremely hard to get into, to much to continue to list October 29, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by The Nook (restaurant) The Nook lacks adequate supervision. The manager is never there; the other employees are on their own. There needs to be a person to manage the buffet at which guests use their fingers, lick their fingers, wipe their faces, and preen their hair. Guest return to the buffet with their used dishes, touch the used dishes with serving utensils, and spread germs to all who eat at the buffet. When I brought this information to the manager, he placed a 2" X 2" framed notice about using clean plates. No one including me saw the sign without great effort. Although the restaurant employees are generally polite, they do not make an effort to greet guests and wait on them in a timely way. As I said, there needs to be a person in charge who knows what to do and then does it: Actively instruct the employees and the guests. Both require direction that they do not receive at the Dedham Holiday Inn. October 25, 2014

Everyone is friendly, helpful and accommodating, from housekeeping, front desk and all the way to management. The room was comfortable, kept clean and stocked with towels. The lobby is clean and inviting. We had breakfast a few times and enjoyed it; coffee is wonderful!! The only small negative is the outside of the building. It needs some TLC and better maintenance and cleaning. October 18, 2014

I was promised many things, none of which happened until I asked again and again. I was promised a refrigerator and microwave in my room, had to go to front desk after we arrived to ask for it again. I asked about the cleanliness for allergy purposes and received a quizzical look. The private breakfast buffet included foods she was allergic to that could have easily been removed if there had been communication between hotel staff. Very disappointed. The hotel rooms were also very dark, not enough lighting. October 13, 2014

They offered multiple choices and was there to answer the thousands of questions, always with promptly and accommodating. Hotel is centrally located and provides easy access to major highways and shopping. A reunion should never be about the venue, but the Holiday Inn and staff helped to make the weekend a very memorable and enjoyable event and will definitely keep them in mind for the next.
