The hotel is in the European area which can cause some issues with access if there is a crisis and the police shut down the area. But this makes the area interesting and access to the hotel is always assured. The Place Jourdan is close by with many interesting restaurants and bistros. I wonder how long the metro station at Schuman will be under construction - started in 2008!!!

The hotel needs redecoration, it is aging, not up to Holiday Inn standard. Our room was clearly converted from the conference room. The hotel has not bothered to remove the pull-down screen from the ceiling, now it is hanging just above the bed.
The reception staff is not able to tell you whether you will receive the final invoice or not if you book via a travel site. They assured me they would, and then in the morning changed their mind. As a result I was late for an important meeting and had difficulty claiming expense reports.

After a good stay on the 28th of February, I went back the following weekend on the 7th of March. Everything was going fine until I was getting ready to go to bed and I pulled back the comforter. I was troubled when I saw a stain on the white sheet in the shape of a butt crack. I thought to myself, "this can't be what it looks like, can it?" Maybe I am a little bit nuts, but I bent over to smell the sheet, expecting the discoloration to be an old stain and still expected them to smell clean. When I took a deep sniff, I was absolutely floored to find my first instinct was right....it was fecal matter. I went down and talked to the front desk clerk, who came up to investigate. He attempted to change the bottom sheet, without changing the top/comforter. I told him it all needed to go and be changed. He complied and offered me a 15% discount, in his words, "to make me happy". I told him that would not make me happy. I have never been so grossed out in any hotel. -And I stay in a lot of hotels. Never again.

Having been upgraded from standard room to a suite the room faclities were excellent. Everything functional and very clean and modern.
The dining area was not particularly well laid out or comfortable and the breakfast choice was rather dissapointing with several of the food options depleted or completely missing.
The hotel is not the easiest to find when arriving via the metro on foot - some signage would be beneficial.

Stayed over the weekend of 6th to 8th March, 2015. Myself and a colleague so we had 2 rooms. Nice clean and comfortable
We had a couple of meetings which we were able to use the hotel lounge for and the staff could not have been more helpful
On the first night we ate in the hotel and it was very good
Well Done Overall
We will come back
