Greeted by friendly staff at arrival. Quick check in at counter. Plenty of parking spaces. Close to nearby restaurants and shopping areas. The room was clean. But TV too small and not enough channels.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Alexander12 Quality clean Hotel
Stayed at this hotel for 1 night in May 2015. While there are no "sightseeing landmarks" around - this hotel is ideal if you are looking for a clean, quality place to rest in a nice park-like area. The hotel is updated, very clean (only elevators look old). The rooms are of decent size, and the bathroom was even a bit bigger than I had expected. Overall, good value for money. This hotel offers more than what you would expect from a typical 3-star property. I rate them 4 out of 5.

If you are lucky enough to get breakfast while Breakfast chef Karen is making omelets, you are in for a treat, she has superb cooking skills and will deliver a great tasting beautiful meal.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Cerkim Overall Good Experience
This was my 2nd time staying and I will definitely stay again when I am in the area and in need of a hotel.
-Rooms were as good as expected
-Breakfast was very good, the omlette station was terrific. Get the breakfast included in your stay especially if you have children because $12 buffet for a kid that eats more than a kids meal but not enough to justify the buffet price.
-Staff , from front desk to breakfast host were pleasant and accommodating.
-The only issue we had was with the pool. I would imagine that weekend leisure travelers may not have to deal with this but we were in town for a wedding and stayed over Thursday night into Friday. The pool was heavily occupied by local children for swimming lessons from 4pm-7pm and again when we went down for a swim at 10am before checkout. The Main reason we stayed there was because my kids wanted a pool and hottub and they felt like they weren't allowed to swim with the entire pool being used to teach different swimming techniques. The instructors were in no way rude or pushing us out, but having a revolving door of 4-8 kids in the pool di not make for a relaxing or enjoyable pool experience. I completely understand that during the weekdays this is a profitable way to make use of the facilities but it is not accomdating to the guest that are paying to stay there.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by BrideDad Holiday Inn Budd Lake, should be cigarette butt lake
Entering the front entrance was like walking through an ashtray, it was disgusting. This was the designated smoking area, what a way to arrive. Staff was great, elevator was dirty, the rest of the hotel was clean. Bed and pillows were ok. Didn't eat at the cafe, the bar was good.
