I know that hotels are rated by stars and points etc. but how I rate a hotel is simple, would I stay there again, yes or no. The answer for this Hotel (Holiday Inn in Buena Park on Beach blvd) is YES. I had no problem finding the hotel, it was right off the freeway, super easy to find. The sheets were crisp, white, clean and comfortable. The wifi worked without any problems. We didn't eat breakfast there so can't comment on that. but the lobby was nice. The staff was nice. plenty of parking. Have nothing negative to say about my stay in this hotel. I will definately stay there again. ...oh and something I didn't know before hand, but you might want to know is that the pool is heated. so you and the kiddos can swim any time you visit! I found this out when a man asked where the pool was as I was checking in, since it was freezing cold outside, I asked if the pool was heated, and the hotel employee said yes, it is heated. good to know for next time.

I am an out of town member of a wedding party. I needed 3 rooms for 9 people at the 11th hour as previous arrangements with another hotel did not work out. The gentleman at guest services (I believe his name is Vince) went out of his way to accommodate our last minute requests and everybody in my party had a wonderful and merry time which carried on until the day of the wedding.. Thank you Holiday Inn. Thank you Vince for awesome service!

The breakfast offered was good ( but the people managing it lacked customer service skills-no greetings ) , rooms are clean as is with other Holiday Inn hotels, but the service did not seem to be at Holiday Inn standards.. Towels not provided on 3rd day of stay to us, only received after i had called...one of the table lamps was not in working order..
Overall i would still continue with other Holiday Inn..

Paid for room with complimentary breakfast but was told by staff that due to Thanksgiving season, no complementary breakfast will be provided! Need to pay for breakfast in hotel instead, ended up having breakfast in outside restuatrant instead.
Soap dispenser "ate" up my money but front deask was nice to give me a replacement set for detergent for guest lauandry.
Gym is better good with equipment for strength training.

Room was large and was sparkling clean and quiet. Enjoyed fantastic breakfast in hotel 2 mornings. Close to area attractions and right next to the 91 freeway. Pool was nice.

stay was good. clean. the bar lacked entertainment and snacks. there was a big bug in the hall that freaked my wife out. the shuttle to knotts dropped us off at a street corner and not in the parking lot. i asked the driver where we would be picked up from and he suggested that we walk back. the walk was a mile.

The front desk staff was friendly and helpful as usual; especially Tom and Vince. The service was attentive at the restaurant also, great desserts.

It would be nice to get a King bed every so often. I realize that when I make my reservation that I am at the mercy of what is left for rooms with bed selection and I really do like the 1st level pool side rooms, but a king bed occasionally would be great.
Secondly I almost always have a very early departure flight from LAX (6:00 AM). Because of this, I have to almost always stop by the front desk to get my room bill. I would love it if it were under my door by 3:00 AM on my departure morning.
