Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by great location Plenty of Restraunts within walking distance. Convenient to Glendale and BobHope Airport. Some rooms are dated. Renovated rooms are nice. Lobby is well done. Hallways are dated. No complimentary breakfast like I would expect at a HI Express. March 8, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Customer service lacking I have stayed here and worked here numerous times and the service, while typically friendly, has seemed to lack in competence. This past stay, the night front desk manager flat out refused a request I had made in the past to open my meeting room that I would be using the next day. I wanted to get a sense of the set-up and to see if my fax was in there which they were unable to locate. He refused and told me it was there policy not to open the rooms. I knew this was a flat out lie. The banquets staff is accomodating, but typically act put out if you ask them to do something beyond what they have already done to set up your meeting room. They will do it and say the right things, but they cannot hide the fact that they feel "put-out". I should mention that the front desk staff is typically very friendly, but if you ask a question that is beyond their limited training, they seem confused and will act as if they have no idea how to help. I frequent numerous IHG properties and I know this is not typical behavior. March 8, 2014

Ordered room service - told them specifically had a food allergy for cheese. Meal comes thirty minutes sprinkled with parmasan. Call down for new meal, manager apologizes profusely and offered to comp the meal (was a business trip so that doesn't make it any better for me - my meal comes an hour after I ordered it). This new dish is done correctly, and they even bring me a plate of garlic bread as well - the garlic bread is covered in cheese. They seemed either incompetent or uncaring about my requirements, in any case I would choose to try another hotel next time I am here for business. March 8, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Improve the breakfast! All in all, it was a great stay. We've been for a training at J.L. Fisher and needed a good place to rest after very demanding days. The HI @ Media Center is very well located and, despite one reservation switch during our stay the demanded extra time and attention from the staff, our stay was perfect. I'd like to make one remark. The quality of the breakfast must be improved. Having stayed at other Holiday Inns nearby (Express @ Highland and Beverly Garland), the one served at the Media Center is below standards. I had a great experience at Holiday Inn Burbank media center, I never had to ask for anything, everything I needed was already set up by housekeeping, and front desk staff was very helpful and friendly!! Was upgraded to upper floor and the room was modern, well appointed and quiet. Any hotel experiences wear and tear over time, but this hotel continually strives to keep things at a high level. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Service, Excellent Location Excellent hotel in the area. Convenient location to many amenities. The downtown Burbank location is very safe and walking friendly. Lots of nice shops and restaurants, theaters etc. nearby and short driving distance to major studios and attractions. We were traveling with our three dogs and the hotel and staff were very accommodating and understanding. They made us feel very comfortable. We have no negatives regarding this property. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Always Dependable I've stayed at Holiday Inn Burbank - Media Center for the last 5 or 6 years while my company has a 4-day conference there. The location is so great with SOOOOO many great places to eat, well within walking distance. My room is always the same, no surprises, just the way I like it. The restaurant is always very good. The front desk people are super friendly and in fact I recognize one man from several years ago. This must be a great place to work. Housekeeping does a nice job of making everything tidy. I love the gym, but it could probably use another eliptical machine and one more treadmill. I got in there super early and noticed several people leave when every machine had somebody on it. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Location and comfort Location is great, lots of great resturaunts and shopping in the area. The options here are plentiful, with a fitness room, a pool, a game room, a resturaunt and a bar within the hotel and all of the amenities you can ask for. The service was top notch and the bartender was very cordial. The internet was a bit flaky and you have to repeatedly put in the hotel password throughout the day to get access and once you in it really slowed me down. Instead of logging in with my phone I stuck with my mobile connection to improve on the speed. The lamps came with plugs on them so you don't have to reach under the table to plug something in, but unfortunately only 1 out of the 4 worked so be careful. Also be aware of the dreadful loud bathroom fan. It's best to keep the light off so you don't get frightened by the sound of it.. January 28, 2014

Perfect location. 7 blocks to your choice of great variety of Restaurants coffee shops , mall and HWY, all in walking distance. I was alone and felt very safe and comfortable staying there. Walk out the door and down San Fernando to experience a neighborhood commercial district that is pleasant and stimulating. The staff are well selected and well trained. The AC didn't work when I arrived but it was fixed promptly after a call to the front desk.The only negative about the room is not enough drawer space.. Would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Los Angeles. January 12, 2014

We flew in to Burbank airport and the free hotel shuttle was waiting for us before we even got outside of the airport. It was a quick 10 minute drive to the hotel. This location was also great to do a little sightseeing in Hollywood and a Warner Brothers Studio tour before heading to Pasadena to the Rose Bowl. If the opportunity comes again, then I would recommend the Burbank airport and this hotel. January 11, 2014

Burbank is a great location for visiting the Rose Bowl and is an easy drive back to LA, Hollywood and Santa Monica. The hotel is also located well within the City of Burbank, easy walking distance to restaurants, bars and shopping. However, the most outstanding aspect of our stay was the hotel staff. They were very friendly, approachable, knowledgable and willing to help in any way. We used the hotel shuttle on two occasions and the driver was very accommodating! The housekeeping staff did a great job in cleaning our room everyday. Our room had been recently renovated and was very comfortable. We had a wonderful experience at this hotel! January 11, 2014
